Fyi Redhat is closing June 27 2021. It's been operating for over 100 years! It was just announced a few days ago. Very sad.

We ate hear based on the Google reviews and the food wasn't bad. We sat downstairs in the bar area, the upstairs wasn't open at the time. The bartender was great. The prices weren't bad.

Food and service was good. Food was very reasonably priced. 1/2 priced appetizers on Thursday night. Place is in need of some refreshing but was not terrible. I will definitely be back. Fries are waffle style which I like. Food served in baskets so it is not fancy. Lots of TVs to watch sports. Very casual place. Our server was very nice even though she was very busy.

This is definitely a hole in the wall bar in the heart of Boston. We went late afternoon on a Friday in hopes of watching baseball. It was not crowded but because of covid regulations, the capacity was a lot smaller. First, there was only one server. She was super apologetic, attentive, and friendly. I felt terrible that she was working by herself! We were sat upstairs by ourselves. Definitely not the cleanest bar, the table was dirty. However, the food was delicious!! We ordered the bbq chicken melt, pepperoni pizza, and fried pickles. The fried pickles and waffle fries were probably some of the best I've had! If you are looking for a tiny dive bar with great food this is the place. Do not go if you want a clean, vibrant atmosphere.

Atmosphere is a little sketchy, but the food was awesome. The chicken tenders were the meatiest I have ever had and they taste great too. The french fries were awesome as well. Also, really enjoyed my clam chowder in a bread bowl. Would go again in a heartbeat.

Wooow, I came to this place with my wife on a trip from Miami. I found nothing but good experience here, drinks were good with good price, the place looks really authentic and to think it's over 100 years old it's amazing. It opens until 2 which also makes it amazing and our waitress was very kind and fast

Great wings, great bar, great location. I’ll have to stop by here post-pandemic — seems it would be awesome when its more lively.

Do not have a business if you cannot give a customer what they want. Do not have business hours on your website if they are incorrect. Shame, if you have a business i pay for your life. Simply answer 1 of the 4 calls

Not form Boston but dropped into this place on a rainy November day during a recent visit. Steamy Hot Clam Chowder, cold Winter Lager, friendly service. Cozy atmosphere in the downstairs bar. Can see myself spending a long afternoon day drinking someday soon!
