Good selection and very nice and helpful people with excellent knowledge of wine and spirits.

Small place, as a result the craft beer choices are not many, but they are good. Lamplighter, Beer'd, Barreled Souls, and more. A plus, some really good crafts are in the coolers being kept cold. A minus, grumpy gus working the register. I get it, 3 day weekend is not a fun time to be working, but when someone says hello, say hello back, basic.

We worked with Jon and the team for our wedding. They really hooked it up. Great prices, special ordered some wines and helped out a lot by delivering. Thanks!

Excellent food, great service, good atmosphere. Ordered Grilled Tenderloin, grilled asparagus, and dessert. Could not ask for better food and service. Will be back next time.

We were excited to try this new Brewster restaurant over Labor Day weekend, but I have to be honest and say the food and service was very mediocre. The waitstaff did not introduce themselves, discuss specials or make recommendations. Instead we were just greeted with a "what do you want" for our drinks order. Our white wine bottle was left on the table and we had to ask for an ice bucket which, at a very expensive restaurant, is quite sub-par service. A bottle of oyster bay sauv blanc (normally $9.99 at a shop) was $34. And they have a very very small, un-interesting wine list. The food was just ok. You order a main for $18-$30 and then have to add on another $8-12 for vegetable and starch sides. The sides were very small, just enough for 2 people, this concept did not suite our large party. The steak, chicken and sea bass was nicely seasoned and cooked (hence 2 stars and not just 1!) the pasta with scallops was pretty poor, just a heap of linguine with a few scallops on top that hadn't been cooked very nicely... overall this restaurant experience is not what we expected from "one of Chatham's top chefs". Very expensive (over $400 bill for a party of 6) and the food wasn't worth it. Better to go to Brewster Fish House or Spinnaker just down the street... We won't be coming back and, considering the place wasn't even half full on Labor Day weekend, I don't think we're the only ones that felt this way.

So glad we have this a try despite a few negative reviews! Our experience was very positive and we have a feeling we will become regulars at the restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, our waiter very attentive. I really enjoyed a special appetizer, halibut ceviche. Talk about a flavor punch. The best part besides the flavor was how it was presented, it was like art on the plate. My filet was tender and cooked to perfect medium rare, so glad our waiter recommended it! My wife is vegetarian so she enjoyed her grilled baby vegetable antipasto and smoked wild mushrooms. That said, people at the table next to us were raving about their burgers, so I am definitely coming back soon to try those! The menu was so nicely put together that we won't stop until we try everything, good thing we're down on the Cape every weekend!

Tried out this restaurant last night and it was a disaster! Overpriced, weird ingredients, and focus was almost entirely on artistic presentation. Food was so bad I had to return my entire meal! Grilled Vegetable Antipasto was so unevenly salted that each taste of different grilled vegetables was like Russian roulette- extremely over, or under salted. Pomegranate glazed Chicken lacked glaze, flavor, and was so under-cooked the blood veins were still visible in parts. Nice olives with bread but Crusty White bread was tasteless. Bussing staff barely understood English and removed my plate while I was still eating (my husband's fries because I was too fearful of ordering anything else.) To top things off, the AC was broken- altogether awful- even still, the cost was absurdly high for an appetizer and my husband's burger.

Amazing craft beer store that has beers that you can't get anywhere else on the cape. Great staff and service. I look forward to stopping by every time I am on the cape. Thank You!

We had a great dinner at The Flats on Sunday night. The menu layout is a little confusing but our Server was wonderful and she went over everything with us and offered suggestions. She was really great! We ordered a few appetizers and all were delicious- grilled octopus, artichokes and the cheesy cauliflower. I had the salmon entrée and it was amazing- very fresh and perfect pairing with the corn and black beans. I had Red Sangria with it as well and it was a great combination. The venison burgers were a big hit at our table as well. I didn't realize the restaurant was new until I came to write the review but it makes sense now why it wasn't too busy when we went in for dinner. I would definitely recommending giving this new establishment a try!

I was not overly impressed with this restaurant. I will simply call it a "Manhattan wannabe". This location does not warrant an "ala carte" type menu. The local "elitists" were commenting on the reasonable prices while they were anything but. $10.00 for a cauliflower side seemed a bit much. A wild rice side dish was uneditable by anyone at the table. The taste of fennel was excessive and dry. Overall, the food was below average. I wouldn't go out of my way to return here. A friend seemed a little annoyed over square plates. I really didn't care, but it could bother other people. I felt uncomfortable being seated in the bar area when the main dining room was wide open. Yes... we had reservations. Then to have a couple seated perpendicular behind me made it a bit tight. Sorry.. The Flats will fail like most other restaurants in that location. I'd go to a local place, like the Sesuit Harbor Cafe, for better food at a better price. I don't go to Cape Cod to be a snob.

Terrific start...excellent food and craft cocktails. Menu offers Bites,Small plates and Center plates. Bites and Small plates are basically the same and "Center" items are main courses. Offerings are creative; grilled octopus, flash fried artichoke hearts, smoked wild mushroom assortment, baked russet potato, avocado oil poached salmon, sage risotto and day boat scallops. We had all of these and they were terrific. Setting is suitable for drinks and appetizers (small plates) or a full dinner. Wait staff new but doing fine. More upscale fare not a wings and pizza place.

Great food (grilled octopus, NY strip, house salad with scallops, flourless chocolate cake). Everything was cooked well, and the portions were solid. The service was excellent! The prices are pretty standard for the area. We'll definitely be back!

Tried The Flats twice now and the food has been incredible both times. The wait staff was clearly getting their feet wet on our first visit opening week, but clearly had their act together by our second visit. They serve what they refer to as "center of plate" as the entree and you pick your sides, which we found were easily big enough to share. Between the three of us, entrees were the Avocado Oil Poached Salmon with black bean puree and roast corn, the Pomegranate Honey Glazed Statler Chicken and the Venison Burger with brie and smoke slab bacon. Sides were the Milk and Butter Braised Whole Idaho Russet Potato, Chilled Israeli Cous-Cous Salad, Braised Cipollini Onions and Creamed Corn with smoked bacon bits and Shishito pepper coulis. Everything was amazingly delicious and really original creations. We passed on dessert as we cleaned our plates through dinner. Will definitely make this a regular dinner stop and recommend to everyone that we know.
