Bedroom smells like cigarette smoke covered by Fabreze. Housekeeping only brings towels, no vacuuming, as what was on our floor was still there upon return. No fresh sheets, they just remake the bed, and the toilet bowl was never cleaned (I’m not going to elaborate on how I know this)…so why offer housekeeping? Second time staying here. We’re still here for two more nights, I wish we could just leave now. Will never return.

It was an excellent check in process at The Villages, the check in team of Jodi, Monique and Kim were amazing, making the process seem so easy, providing recommendations on things to do and so friendly while doing so. They even took the time to ask my kids what they were excited about and telling them how much fun the pool would be. Great job, and a wonderful start to vacation, thanks again to Jodi, Monique and Kim!

Impressed! I walked into a spotless room/unit with a lovely kitchen and living area decorated in an updated nautical style. Felt right at home, which was a wonderful feeling after the ferry ride back from Nantucket. Because I checked in a little later than expected (took a later ferry), I missed the room service window. I was so graciously accommodated when I called to see if I could still order something for dinner. Bayzo’s Pub (on-site restaurant on the Mansion side) called me back within minutes to take my take-out order. Andrew and Ted at Bayzo’s had everything ready for me with a smile and off I went with my yummy chicken schnitzel! The next day brought even more smiles as I had lunch at the Beach Bar. The views of Cape Cod Bay were stunning and the Beach Bar vibe with music was so fun, it felt like I was on an island! The bartenders added to the relaxed, beachy vibe, especially Dimi with his friendly service & delicious drinks. Just a note that I was initially able to hear a little noise from the neighboring unit where I was staying, but the air conditioners quickly remedied that with a nice white-noise hum. Looking forward to returning with the whole family and taking advantage of all the on-site amenities and activities. Dinner on the mansion lawn looks amazing. Thanks, Ocean Edge for a lovely stay!

I was at Oceans Edge Resort resort this past weekend celebrating my 30th wedding anniversary and from the minute I checked in to painfully having to check out my wife and I loved every minute of it. The staff is amazing , polite and make you feel at home . The terrace food and drink were great and love the Beach Bar and fire pits and the village rooms are beautiful as well .

The experience here was absolutely perfect. My husband and I went for our 5th wedding anniversary and they sent us a slice of dessert as we arrived. Additionally, they gave us access to their private beach and made sure our stay was excellent. We had a 3 day 2 night stay with 2 days of golf, but due to severe weather, we lost out on 36 holes. They promptly refunded the cost of golf. The resort was excellent - beautiful villa, very comfy bed, and great golf course. We’ll be back, thank you again for an excellent stay!

I have only positive feedback for Ocean Edge resort. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. The condo was very clean with comfortable beds. We had adjoining condos with my daughters family which was nice. I wish we were able to access the beach amenities but were aware of this before we booked.

Great place for a great value, nothing else like it on the Cape. Staff here are excellent and the property is huge, with a private beach and a golf course and multiple pools, our favorite being the Shark Bah. The staff on the golf course side (Villages) and Mansion side (Beach) are uniformly great, testament to the hiring and training practices of the management. The villas on the golf course side are large and for a low price, we've been coming for five years and this year we noticed a lot of updates to the villas. One small issue (and it is minor) was with check-in. We requested and were granted an early check-in (3pm instead of 4pm) but when we arrived our villa wasn't ready at 3, nor at, and it was nearly 6 by the time we were allowed to check-in. A small thing though still would have been nice if we didn't have to wait around. Other than that, everything here is 5-star and could not recommend it more highly.

We decided to make a quick one-night trip to Oceans Edge and since we had never been before we had no idea what to expect. Upon check in Jodi and Kim went above and beyond to make the experience quick and easy and even though the room wasn't supposed to be ready until later we were surprised to find out we could go directly there because it WAS ready! The room was beyond perfect and the pictures online do not do it justice! The shuttle service is so convenient and took us straight to the beach where we had some snacks and drinks and Katie was super friendly and made the best drinks! It was high tide and there was a wedding about o take place so there was not much room on the beach so we headed back to the Arbor pool instead to hang out. The pool was great with plenty of chairs and Dannika was attentive and provided excellent service and a sense of humor too! For dinner we ate at the Beyzar Restaurant and if you eat anything there you have to get the spinach dip! It was probably the best we ever had! They sat us quickly and Flora was quick and friendly and checked on us multiple times during our meal. Overall we wished we could have stayed longer but it was a fantastic little overnight and we will definitely be back again!

Recently had a great experience staying in a one bedroom at Britterige Village at Ocean Edge. The unit was designed and had a stylish decor. It was very comfortable. It also has a private porch looking out at the lush landscape and beautiful pond. I really liked it there. The unit also was up to date with great tvs in each room, a/c, and a very comfortable bed. It was also extremely clean, and the staff were attentive, professional, and polite. I would highly recommend Ocean Edge and would come back, for sure.
Such a great atmosphere, staff is always so polite, friendly and helpful! After checking out of our room we spent the day at the pool and didn’t realize until hours later that we left 2 iPads in our room. Naturally I was worried and went to the front desk for help. They knew exactly what I was talking about, housekeeping had collected all of our belongings that we left behind and packed them up into a tidy bag with our room number on it. For me that is HUGE! Honesty and excellent customer service just solidifies our plans for a quick return every chance we get!

I have lived in the Villages for almost a year. This review is for people staying in condos here, not people using golf facilities. There is almost no cellular service. The landscapers are menacing. It’s impossible to find anyone in charge or get a response regarding safety or broken lights or ants that invaded the villages for months. Coyotes run around killing rabbits. The rules for living here - no yard sales, no window blinds that aren’t white or beige, no clothes lines, no hoses- make it extremely inconvenient to call is generic place home. The golf course is poorly designed and many people feel defeated after playing. The pools are often dirty or under construction and if usable, have a horrid chlorine level. The bug situation is out of control. The landscaping is so dysfunctional that landscapers stand on patios looking in windows and blowing flower pots around and digging up flowers. It’s a total rip off. They should be ashamed

We rented a condo at the villages by the golf course and had such a great time. Even during off-season it was full of experience, the pub downstairs had an awesome speak easy feel and we loved the food. We can not wait to come back and experience this location during a hit warmer weather and would recommend this stay to anyone!

Stayed this past weekend when we arrived there was a bottle of wine and a chess plate waiting for us. The condo was spotless and comfortable. We love to come in the off season and always have a great time we highly recommend people try Ocean edge!
