Dinner for 5 at Benedetto last night. Every single part of the meal was delicious, perfectly prepared. We were served by knowledgeable and gracious waitstaff who could answer any question. ( It was so spacious and with only a few diners, we felt completely safe. Staff were masked and careful to preserve safety.) We stayed at the Charles and had a wonderful dinner at Benedetto. The staff could not have been better about social distancing. The courtyard was delightful to sit in. And the food was exquisite. We had the chicken liver mousse with cranberry marmellata and the Robiola bosina cheese with chicory & rose jam, almond, concord grape and sourdough to start. Very enjoyable dinner, excellent food inspired by traditional Italian cuisine. Interesting finds on the wine list. Service was understandably a bit aloof due to Covid-19 restrictions.
