The yellowtail was great and sushi was good but the sashimi didn’t taste right - a little fishy (smell) and tuna felt frozen. Customer service was great as well - for the price, meh.
An average sushi place with a good selection. While the rolls were reasonably priced, they lacked that wow factor in terms of taste. The atmosphere is basic and unassuming.

Simply not worth the price. The food is serviceable but the prices are just rediculous for what you get. $75 for a few simple rolls. Honestly, I don't think the whole order weighed even 1/2 a pound. Every roll appeared to be undersized and more full of cucumber than anything else. A really bad deal.

I love coming to Genki-Ya. The Cambridge location is nostalgic for me having grown up in Belmont, so I always try to come back to this one. The food is always delicious and hits the spot. The service is impeccably friendly, fast, and the atmosphere is cozy. I look forward to the next time I’m there to dine. P.S the Sunny roll is one of their bests!
