Made our way up from NJ after making a beer pickup from Treehouse and what a great find this was. Breakfast was absolutely phenomenal and the people were super nice. Seriously the home fries were out of this world. 100 pct will be back on our next Treehouse visit. Highly recommended.

My apologies as my last review was supposed to be from this account. I will remove my other review when I get to my laptop.We ended up here because the other place down the road (won’t say the name as it’s not about that place) was packed and did not want to wait 45 minutes to sit. Much like Carousel Diner in NH , this place is fantastic in terms of food. We got 3 different meals and all 3 were amazing (I highly recommend getting the meat lovers wrap).The price is fair; but I have some issues with the place. First the booths are very small, I mean I could not enjoy my delicious meal as I was hitting elbows with my wife the whole time. I’m sure a party of one or two this would be okay, but anymore than 2 it is uncomfortable. Our server was a very nice young lady but when I asked if they had sweet tea and she said yes, I expected sweet tea not some raspberry brisk tea. After finishing my tea, I had asked for a refill and placed my glass at the end of the table; she walked by 4 times, got refills for the older couple next to us but ignored mine. I never got a refill so even though I enjoyed my food, I bet it would of tasted even better if I had something to wash it down with. Next there is not much atmosphere, they have a TV on with no volume, you can hear literally everyone’s conversation & to me that’s kind of eh. Lastly aside from all that, this is an issue of mine personally & should not be used when determining coming here unless you have the same problem as me. I suffer from Crohn’s disease & when I have to go, I have to go. They have one bathroom, which isn’t terrible except when there is a line of people waiting. I had to wait 15 minutes for the waitress (the same one who was our server) to get out the bathroom for me to use it. As soon as I got into the bathroom I already had someone knocking needing to go as well. Like I said it’s not a big deal but should be made aware of this if you suffer from any bowel disease.Overall this is a great place with great food & very affordable. I will definitely be here again.

Cook/chef can't scramble eggs right. What more can I say? I sent the first batch of eggs back because they were too wet. The replacement dish of eggs was no better, other than having been cooked longer. However, the "new" eggs were now chopped into tiny bits that wouldn't work well with the fork. Gee, if you can't scramble an egg right, you're not a decent breakfast joint! Server girl didn't know how to quietly bash me to her coworkers -- she kept going into the kitchen frequently and I could hear her "dissing" me to the cooks as I sat to drink my coffee. Even after I confronted the server and told her I felt awkward because she kept engaging the cooking staff to talk about me/the issue, and I could hear her, she continued her unprofessional behavior. Way to earn a tip, Dumbo! NOT Just another local breakfast place with sub-par food. For the record, scrambled eggs are supposed to be beaten well (maybe use a whisk instead of a fork) before cooked thoroughly.....not stirred lightly. That's all I asked for. First the server misinterpreted my request to the cook who should already know how to serve scrambled eggs. Then there was a bit of a kerfuffle by the time I left because of that rude server. I've had crummy eggs in many breakfast joints, unfortunately. But hearing a server repeatedly bash me while I sit at my table to consume the remainder of my meal? That's a new one on me. Don't waste your money here like I did.

Hello we are from upstate NY and we travel for work. We eat out all the time on the east coast Well let me tell you about this GEM The Yankee diner. They made us feel like we were home eating at our favorite uncles place for lunch. Mike the owner and Tee cook with love!! It shows in their food. The ABSOLUTE BEST CLAM CROWDER I HAVE EVER HAD!! The menu has everything from a basic blt to chicken parm that melts in your mouth. Thank you for making us feel like home. You have freinds for life!! We will be back. Hope you have a prosperous New Year good luck with Amazon moving in!! Much live your friends Christine and Dale

The food is out of this ? - sooooo DELICIOUS!! Everything is freshly cooked, the dessert is indescribably yummy. Haley, our waitress, was pleasant, attentive, kind and served us with a beautiful smile. I highly recommend eating here.

Small place, BIG on taste!! Not fancy, just good home cooking. We had a very scrumptious breakfast at lunchtime. Large portions. Be aware that they serve only off the breakfast menu on Sundays. Pleasant and friendly wait staff. 4 adults for $55.
