My family and I had the best prime rib we have had since Lewis's closed in Essex years ago! The waitress was friendly & on point! All the food and deserts were amazing! I definitely recommend! I would make reservations though especially on the weekends because they pack in quickly and there's usually a wait if you don't!Parking: The entrance to the restaurant is in the front of the building not where it says The Village Inn on the side where you park. That's their function rooms so park in the lot then go up the side ramp to the front of the building to get in restaurant. The waiting area is a little tight so like I said a reservation is probably best!

I’m going to start with the only negative on our visit…… I called and wanted a reservation for 7ppl at 6:30pm under the name “Michael” they had me listed as “Michele” and almost didn’t give me the table until I convinced them whoever took the reservation misspelled the name. Now the good stuff….. Once we were seated Alexis was our server. Alexis was friendly and very personable, she worked efficiently and was very attentive to our needs. We had a number of appetizers and they were all delivered hot and they were all very tasty. My wife and I (she was the birthday girl!!) both had the tomato and rice soup which was delicious. My wife had the baked haddock and I had the prime rib both were hot and full of flavor. All the other dinners everyone was quite pleased with. This restaurant is always very good and the prices are reasonable for what you get. One thing they could do to get me back more would be to order the liquore I drink, it’s not popular but won’t go to waste as long as I am alive.

15-20 minutes was 50 minutes. get the food handed to me i ask is it even hot. ya she says. NO it’s not. i also asked if we could get rolls. no rolls. everytime i come here it’s the same. i must have some unresolved childhood trauma to keep coming back here.

Place can use a make over !!even if it’s painting the walls and changing the carpet! And also the fact that the staff has to go by the main entrance way with the trays while people are waiting to be seated shouldn’t be! What we had for food was good and service was great!

Excellent food! Been there for years never bad meal. The prime rib delicious. The seafood is like getting at the beach. Ribs are so moist. I love their pork also so thick. Have had many parties there. Bridal.baby showers. Mercy meal.
