I ordered subgum chow mein. It comes with cashews on top. I always tell them NO NUTS. I got home and started to eat and the nuts were mixed in. This almost sent me to the hospital. I called them up to tell them I strictly said no nuts. They didn't compensate me in any way.

Wahmays was always a favorite of my family. For over 30 years I've been eating here. The quality has gone down the last decade. I purchased my usual pupu platter and was disappointed. The fried shrimps used to be large and are now so tiny with barely any batter causing the whole shrimp itself to be crunchy and unchewable. The wontons and ragoons have barely any meat/filling in them anymore. The egg rolls used to have tiny shrimps, and pieces of spare ribs, now they are mostly the veggies they use to fill them. The chicken fingers are tiny now, mostly batter and even the batter barely covers the chicken pieces. The platters used to cost $17 two years ago and now are $22. For that price I'll be eating at Ming's which is an all you can eat chinese/sushi buffet with better quality food. I will not be returning even after this place has been a family favorite for many decades.
