Portuguese Steak, grilled fish, Portuguese beers! Great little spot to get authentic Portuguese fare.
Bife a tronqueira. Not a fan of mustard, but the mild mustard sauce on this steak is amazing. The fresh cheese is also a must! If you can't visit the islands, visit aliança - azorean food at its best.
Me and my wife got food. Steak was tender rice was good. Sauce was the best out of 10 places we’ve had the steak from in the area. 9/10
Was interested in trying out the food walked and and was greeted by a guy who asked if I had a reservation I stated I didn't he told me to wait a minute ppl walked in behind me same situation no reservation I stood off to the side and they decided it would be better to sit the ppl who walked in after me with no reservation. I find that pretty rude and bad customer service. Then to be told I can wait 30 minutes.
Was one of the friendliest and nicest places I've been in a long time and the food was fantastic
Authentic Portuguese food. Hearty dishes that taste like they are homemade. Little necks in garlic & oil were outstanding.
It was okay, I had the fish and chips, my wife had grilled cod bone in which she liked. The french fries on the fish and chips were a little over fried. The food overall was good. Waitresses need to be more attentive never asked how the food was while we were eating, they only came to our table at the end of the meal. All in all, I'll give it another try to see if I have a better experience.
The food here is great but the service is really bad. The guy that works there is very attentive but the rest of the waitress take forever to take your order and get what you need and a couple times I asked for something it was never brought out. Other then the service being bad it’s a pretty good restaurant
I haven't been in this restaurant in about 6 years it's still as good as it was the last time I went
Me and my son had lunch here the food was amazing hot and fresh. The lasagna cheesecake with pineapple and strawberries was so worth it and my son got the rice pudding he loved it so much. I highly recommend if you love Portuguese food and the portions are big.
The food was fantastic, drinks were great and service was outstanding ❤️
Parking was a bit of a challenge but the mild aggravation is worth it for the food. This is a family restaurant with a separate entrance if you want to visit the bar. I had shrimp Mozambique at 3 places in New Bedford and Alianca hands down was the best of the three. The Azorean steak was melt in your mouth deliciousness. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I had a rough day and walked in with a frown but the great food and the great staff had me leaving with a warm tummy and a smile on my face.
Food is good here but the service sucks . Wait a half hour for soup u need drinks they just walk by . The couple on the side of us side the same thing
It's really really good food especially the shrimp Mussum beak
Food was really good. The owner very gracious. There was a line outside when we left.
