The owners a real gentleman. Best coffee in New Bedford. Made with detail love and by an amazing bar keep big El gee . I'm not much of a drinker but he definitely pours up with the best of them. Also he's a 5 star Cape Verdien chef and has weekly special pots of Manchupa , beans rice and peas and so much more . The place is super cozy and music always on point. Sat Sunday for football and beers with friends. Walk in as a stranger leave as family.... life rarely gives you gems like this stop by and see .

This place is a complete disaster. There are numerous fights. The price were there 6 times last Saturday night. The whole neighborhood is suffering because of this. I caught a prostitute giving oral sex on the side of the building. I work six days a week and can bot get a decent night of sleep because of all the people outside with the car radios on, fighting, s3lling drugs out in the open. Even during the day they can not control the people coming in and out. They fight in the middle of the street with no regard for cars or other people. There have been times I have heard them shooting at each other outside. I found a man in a puddle of his own blood barley alive. I don't even know what to do anymore. I can't even take a nap. I have to keep my windows closed because they are so loud I won't sleep. There have been over 10 police calls just this week, from what I seen. I pay rent and work and want to come home and rest and I can't especially on the weekend. The people they attract are bottom feeders. They stand outside in groups of 10 to 20 and blast the radios in their cars. The music from the bar is so loud that I can hear it across the street with all my windows closed. The police have to come with at least 3 to 5 cars at a time.
