We had a wonderful dinner at Candela Cucina last night! We went with another couple and everything was perfect. The ambience was spot on - cozy, lively and beautifully designed. Our server was fabulous. She was attentive, friendly, and really made the evening enjoyable. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious, and the portions were extremely generous. It's such a great spot for a night our with friends or a special occasion. We'll definitely be back!
My wife had rigatoni bolognese and I had lobster ravioli. Both meals were delicious ,flavorful and outstanding. Our server was great .
Candela Cucina is a terrific restaurant set in a historic whaling era granite building. The menu selections are large and varied, the wait staff is extremely knowledgeable about everything. My eggplant parmesan was excellent. Seating is relaxing both indoors and outdoors. The only criticism I have is the music volume was a little too loud, table conversations were fighting the music volume.
We've been here several times and it never disappoints. Sat at the bar this time, the two bartenders were great! They make incredible martinis. Appetizer and mains came out timed perfectly. Carpaccio was incredible. Got the chicken and veal parm separately, both were excellent! Order a little extra red sauce, so good. Will definitely go back.
We decided to give another shot at dinner after an original 1st visit that was terrible. Seems the menu has been updated with additional choice which was nice to see. We both enjoyed our meals , with only one issue. The mushrooms on the chicken marsala were very tough to eat. uncertain as to what kind they were, so I picked around them . rubbery not pleasant to eat.
We had an amazing server, she was attentive and helpful with suggestions! The atmosphere was wonderful, with light music in the background! The food was fabulous I had the special Pumpkin cannolini! The whipped ricotta appetizer was so amazing I could have had just that and been happy! My husband had the veal chop, which he said was cooked perfectly to his liking! Everything was top notch, keep up the good work!
Table was ready at the time of reservation and was seated promptly upon arrival. Service was very good. Ordered appetizers which came out in good time and were very good. We had ordered entrees at the same time as the appetizers. Entrees came out before we could finish our appetizers which was bad timing. Sitting at a small table there was no room for all the plates so the appetizers had to be picked up without the opportunity to finish them. We were offered to pack up the appetizers which was not preferable. Entrees ordered was the lobster risotto and the swordfish. Both meals were extremely salty. The risotto had large pieces of shallots and the lobster was overcooked. Entrees were disappointing. Would go there again but not order the same entrees and it was not worth the money spent.
My husband and I had a lovely dinner to celebrate my birthday. The food and cocktails were excellent, and the service was stellar.
Our appetizers and dinners were delicious, our service was excellent. We love the ambiance, it made our dining experience most enjoyable.
Had a nice weekday lunch. Food & service were excelled. Rigatoni with Bolognese sauce was outstanding.

Restaurant was cold and pretty loud; we had trouble hearing each other. Server was attentive and helpful. Food very good.
Our experience was very good - the food was great and our waiter was well trained and friendly, plus we got a free hors d'oeuvre for having to wait for our table!!🤗
This was our third visit to Candela Cucina and once again it was a huge success. The food is always excellent as is the service. It has become one of our top go to spots for special occasions. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. Love it and will definitely be back.
We had Emily as our server, she was friendly and very attentive! We came for pizza Monday and the pizza was so perfectly cooked, the crust was fluffy and soft & there was the perfect amount of sauce, cheese and toppings ? Overall experience 10/10
My wife and I went out to Carmine's for our anniversary. She had been wanting to go here for a long time. The service was great, but she was disappointed in her meal which was scallops on a bed of cornbread. It was just ok. Not a lot of flavor and the cornbread was dry. I had the flatbread pizza which was delicious. My wife ordered the tiramisu for dessert and was really disappointed. It is her favorite dessert, but this one was very dry and had no flavor. She regretted her meal choices and wished she had tried an Italian dish or the lobster ravioli and the chocolate volcano for dessert. Maybe next time....if we go back again.
