Both the food and coffee were great! I recommend the mushroom frittata and tiramisu French toast from their new menu. Both were delicious. The service was amazing. Everyone was so nice and welcoming.

As some of the reviews have said, I really wanted to like this place, but it can’t get out of its own way. Here are some takeaways1. The live music can be, like really bad, and really loud on the weekends. We have walked out twice because of how absolutely awful the music or sound quality was. It’s brunch. It’s not a lousy cover show of some Florence and the Machine greatest hits.2. The food prices are pricey for the amount of food you are getting. Be ready to get up-charged for cheap items that should come standard3. Avocado toast and the pancakes are great, but please refer to #2.4. Parking is ample, which helps.

I forgot to book a spot for Easter brunch and took a chance on this place after a quick google.It did not disappoint! The atmosphere inside is amazing. Very bright with natural light and amazing up-cycled decor. All the machinery, wood, and green plants are just perfect.Staff was wicked friendly.Food was spot on! I had the vegan hash (as pictured) and Banana fosters pancakes. Others in our party ordered BLT (it was great) and the veggie eggs Benedict (great!) Cold brew was smooth and not bitter and we got a pastry for home.I feel very silly for not knowing this place was there, but now that I do we will be going back and I assume often. It’s great to see these old mills being repurposed for the community. More please!Keep it up!Vegetarian options: Lots of veggie options.Dietary restrictions: Had both veggie and VEGAN optionsWheelchair accessibility: Ramp entrance available out front.The mill also has an elevator if you decide to shop after.

Waited 30 minutes for coffee. Another thirty minutes for extremely tiny, poorly prepared breakfast. Another ten minutes for forks. We also never received the side of bacon we ordered. Two people, $60 total including tip (which we don’t reduce when the problem is clearly understaffing) for two people to have this experience. When we noted politely that we had waited an hour for our food, we were given a single tiny donut that we had actually already declined and did not want as an apology. Others around us were also complaining. Having worked in restaurants, management should have been warning incoming patrons of their kitchen and waitstaff shortage, previewing wait times, and comping portions of meals that were not brought in a timely way. As a former small business owner, I actually have never written a negative review of another business out of empathy for the possibility of a bad day, etc. I’m breaking my rule this once because every aspect of our experience, including the delivery of a single donut to two people as “apology,” was so inadequate for the cost of the experience.

We stumbled upon this place while running errands in New Bedford and were so pleased with our find. The food was delicious. Loved our drinks, the potatoes, the toast, and all. Enjoyed the inviting atmosphere and the wait staff were friendly and fun.

This place is garbage. Took my girlfriend here for breakfast because we heard really good things. After being seated, we waited for 2 hours before someone took our order, another hour went by, and the food never came out! Meanwhile, guests that came after us were being served left and right.. What was even better was that they tried to charge us for the meal we never received! I wish I could comment on the food, but we never got to taste it, lol! I don't know why we were treated so poorly, but we will never go back or have anything good to say about this place.

Amazing food if you can wait an eternity for it but today was my last visit. We waited 45 minutes and never even got our coffee. Our waitress seemed to be ignoring us when after 30 minutes we finally asked if they were coming soon. We watched people who sat long after us get their drinks and food and it got to the point where a table with a better waitress was trying to get her to help us. Just unacceptable service, if there is delay you can at least let the customer know. Or apologize. Anything really.Edit: just saw the review from the ex employee and I now realize my waitress was not ignoring me, she was probably dissociating.

Two weeks later and I’ve still been waiting on my check in the mail along with my W2s. Other ex employees have been waiting over a month.It took a lot for me to do this, but I decided I need to be the voice for past, current, and future employees. Do not work here!Jason and Jill are amazing, kind, genuine people, but unfortunately, this does not translate to their business, as they are very unprofessional and inconsistent with paying their workers.We are overworked and short-staffed daily and do not get the proper breaks. Every pay period, a handful of employees' checks are bounced, and it takes days/weeks to even receive the proper amount. We wait days for our tips that are sometimes incorrect due to the fact that drawers are short due to manager payouts (due to us not having supplies, etc.). If there is ever an issue with money and/or tips that needs to be addressed, the manager/owner, Jason, does not answer or acknowledge any of your concerns.When I first started at DoCo, I was confused about why it was not known by most, and the few it was known by had negative things to say. As I personally experienced the work environment, I now understand. If you are confused about why there's slow service, why the food is overpriced, or why you see different staff coming in and out, it is because DoCo is unorganized, run by unprofessional owners, a cheap boss, and there is a lack of communication. With that being said, I put in my two weeks, I am 'permitted' back into DoCo's space, my check is not cleared from over a week ago, and I have been ignored by Jason for my last payments.
