Atmosphere is very flattering, ..., waitstaff so kind , loved the food we were served. Little necks were excellent !
Honestly I hate posting these as I am in the business, and like to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. But, we came for dinner last night and it was atrocious from beginning to end (minus the drinks). Started out with the seafood stew and there was one flake, and I’m not exaggerating, one flake of white fish and maybe 12 pieces of orzo in the bowl portion. The waitress was very kind and asked if I would like the other kale soup. I agreed and it came out promptly, only to have tasted like it had been cooked for three days and sat for three more, also no flavor whatsoever. Our main courses arrived shortly after ( steak special and the octopus) the steak rice and fries were cold and the steak was well past well done being almost inedible. The octopus was drenched in oil and the peppers onions and octopus tasted like nothing but charred. Portions of the octopus were inedible due to being over cooked and parts were undercooked and slimy. The server was attentive and pleasant, but overworked as there was only one and she had 12 tables going at once so we didn’t say anything to further burden her night. Luckily we got a free gift card previously that paid for the meal, but if your about to spend your hard earned money I would look for an alternative.
The plate was decorated nicely. Food tasted authentic. Lighting, music, decor, waitress were all great. This is a nice place to go on a date. The family who owns this place clearly takes pride in their restaurant!!
Food was terrible I got halibut with shrimp and scallops there was no flavor at all my husband asked for roasted octopus and he got stew octopus the appetizers were okay. The only good thing we got was the wine which you can’t go wrong on that lolWill never go there again!!
Delicious authentic Portuguese ?? food. The grilled octopus is, for me, an amazing choice. We went at a busy time and the food took quite a while to arrive but we quickly forgot that part once we tasted the food.
This is a family owned restaurant where they take pride in their business. The octopus was cooked to perfection! This is one the best portuguese restaurants, I have been to.
Great Portuguese restaurant. Good food, good service and nice ambiance. Always enjoy eating there. Highly recommended.
If you want authentic Portuguese cuisine, Inner Bay is the spot for you. Amazing wine list. Lots of menu options. Everything from octopus, steak, to shrimp Mozambique. Every dish is equally delicious. Perfect for parties as well.
Have always loved this place as the food is delicious, although I think they could do better with the portion sizes. They’re just a bit on the small side for the price. Otherwise, a good meal.
Food is always amazing wait staff always friendly good atmosphere.
We've been here a few times. The food is consistently good, the food and drink prices are VERY reasonable and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Plenty of available parking. This is among a small handful of restaurants that I go to again and again in New Bedford.
Fantastic day trip exploring New Bedford; highlighted by lunch at Innerbay Cafe . Delicious, authentic Portuguese food, homemade cheeses, coupled with the warmth and generosity extended by Tony and Judy filled our souls and our bellies! Still enjoying leftovers of Carne Alentejana this morning, portions are amazing!
Great service .The food was very tasteful. Will definitely recommend this place .You will not be disappointed.
Probably one of the best dinners I have ever had. The owner and staff could not be more hospitable. The food and drinks were top notch. We were not rushed out. Just a great night!!! Can't wait to go back...
