Terrible experience. First tried to order the 1/2 chicken but waitress had no idea what I was talking about even after showing it to her on the menu. That set off red flags because it means not only had she no heard of it but no one had ever ordered it. Then tried to order the cubano sandwich and was told they were out. So I ordered a burger figuring that’s tough to screw up. Yet - they found a way. The burger came out with no cheese even though it is clearly included on the menu. Waitress took back the burger and a few minute later the same burger came back (now cold) with a piece of cold unmelted cheese on it. It was gross. The only redeeming part of the meal was the waffle fries. About this restaurant - so many better options within a few miles. It’s a shame - I wanted to like it.

Johnny and Victoria are very kind and pleasant, the foods good, the atmosphere is great and the drinks aren’t expensive. I recommend you stop by and check it out!

Very good food, served in a pleasant atmosphere, with friendly attentive service. I have had a variety of their burgers and sandwiches that are all very good, and the fish and chips too. Good variety of "snacks" and appetizers. Reliably good to bring me back again, and again.

I was disappointed with the fish and chips. Fish was very oily and cooked very strange. My wife's salmon was excellent. Great service and atmosphere.

This was not our first visit to Biltmore. It was an off night as the added salmon was undercooked when asked for well done. The burger was lukewarm and was not hand able and needed to be cut. It turned into a mush burger.

I've been coming to the Biltmore for almost a decade. I've watched it get better and better through the years. It's everything you want in a neighborhood hangout. The cocktails are prohibition inspired and generally inventive takes on classics. The food is surprisingly good for bar food; the short rib poutine and brussel sprouts in particular are very satisfying. The beer list is always a great selection. This is a nice cozy place for dinner and drinks; in my humble opinion the best place in Upper Falls.Parking: Easy parking lot behind the bar, or ample street parking out front and just down the street.

Had the booth seating. Food was good, prices were reasonable, and, where we sat, the noise level was moderate so that my wife and I could carry. on a conversation. Really enjoyed the experience.

Steak tips are great. Girlfriend loves the apple arugula salad with salmon or tips also. Very good spot.

Wonderful ambience, very cool local vibe. The food was very disappointing for the first time having eaten there many times in the past. Salmon was “fishy” and couldn't eat it, the bread and burger were Not good, the Nashville Chicken sandwich had terrible bread and was prepared poorly. Thai noodle salad was not good. Beer was very good, service great. Wish the food was better, that's really the only complaint. They were kk d enough to take the salmon dishes off the check when we sent them back.

The sloppy joe sliders were okay. I had the burger with a side of garlic spinach, and the burger was average, but packed with lettuce and the “brioche” bun tasted more like costco brand sandwich bread. It was dry and fell apart, so I ended up finishing the meat with a fork. The garlic spinach tasted more like boiled lawn clippings than garlic, so I exchanged it for a mediocre but generously sized caesar salad. The steak tips were okay, but some were underdone. The wait staff were friendly, but the obnoxiously loud wuss-rock playing over the speakers made it difficult to hear conversation. Alcohol of any type is extremely overpriced—be prepared to pay more than a dollar per year for only 1.5oz of any decent whiskey. I'll also mention that the beer keg urinal in the men’s room has an undersized opening, and you get your shoes washed when your flush it--about as functional as it is classy.Overall, this is very average restaurant with above average prices.
