Service was great. Nice local place for drinks and a quick bite. Beer selection is unique and awesome.

One of my favorite spots. Outstanding service. Drinks are great. All the appetizers are really good. But the best thing about Dillon's is the fish and chips. They have the best fish and chips in the entire world. I challenge you to find better fish and chips. It's not possible. I want to fly to England with some of dillions fish and chips and show them how it's done. Every other restaurant that sells fish and chips should close up their doors in shame. It's so good that you could slap me in face every time I go in, call my mother names, and charge me 300 dollars, and I would still frequently go to dillions with a smile on my face for just a taste of these fish and chips. Also the shepherds pie is good.

Great service, decent beer and whiskey selection, excellent food!

Great food and friendly staff. The only downside is the restaurant and parking lot are kind of small so it can be tough getting a parking spot or a table. But it's worth the wait!

Small, personal restaurant and pub. Strangers walk in immediately feel at home. Great place to meet and raise a glass or 2 (or 3).

The bartenders were fabulous! The beer selection is different and wonderful! The food is delicious! I cant wait to go again!

Definitely the best Guinness on the south shore. And the food is excellent too. The staff is really friendly - the name is accurate!

Great place to watch a Football game if you are looking for a little bit of a classier sports bar with amazing wine and food. We very much enjoyed our dinner and drinks, in an environment that was comfortable for non-sports bar types. We later learned that this place was loved and enjoyed by our local wine bar friends. Highly recommended!

Awesome, Lil bar we found by accident. Went to Parade and was looking for a place to use bathroom . Great friendly place. Ed and Nicky were incredible. And the food was incredible. French onion soup is one of the best. Even the buffalo chicken pizza was really good considering it's a pub ! Unique Thanksgiving eggroll was a hit ,especially with the brown gravy to dip in ! Even though the place was packed ,the barkeeps were super efficient and unbelievably friendly ! Great lil find that we will definitely be back to next year when the 400th Thanksgining Parade kicks off !

Love this place, great food, friendly bar staff that know how to pour the perfect pint of Guinness and outstanding food all this will make sure we head back. We were there on probably one of the busiest day's they have in Plymouth, with the Thanksgiving parade on we knew most places would be busy, but what was most surprising about Dillon's was that the majority of customers in there were regulars, so it obviously gets busy all the time, a very good sign. Ed and Nicky behind there bar were in perfect sync, quick with refills and always a smile, a winning combo. We tried the special of the day Thanksgiving egg rolls apps, turkey, mash potatoes and cranberry served wrapped in an egg roll wrapper served with a side of delicious gravy for dipping, these were delicious. Couple of our party tried the french onion soup and noted it was one of the best they've had, i'm eager to go back and try one of the many traditional Irish dishes listed on the menu, especially the Guinness battered fish and chips.... All in all a wonderful experience.

Great brunch in Plymouth. Morning crowd of locals. We enjoyed our meal and the service was great. I got a Cod Ruben and it rocked

Great surprise! Excellent for lunch on our first visit. Totally stumbled upon it having visited so many other places. Service was perfect. We will be back!

cute, casual and delicious. the service was very efficient but not the friendliest. we started with a meat and cheese plate that was so good!

Stopped by Dillons Local after a visit to Plymouths Landing. Busy pub with great food. We had the pizza and pretzel. Mayflower beer was very good!

I had their clam chowder, brussels sprouts, and fish and chips. The food was fantastic! Clam chowder was better than the award-winning clam chowder at CabbyShack. Something about the leeks. Three different kinds of homemade ranch? Are you kidding me! Awesome! And the coleslaw that came with the fish and chips was not an afterthought. Very light flavorful dressing and very fresh. What could be better than the food? Emily my waitress! Fantastic service, friendly, offering suggestions and telling me about their three different kinds of ranch, and then coming back to ask me which one was my favorite.

Solid food, nice interior, friendly and efficient waitstaff. I had a cod Reuben with a brewski and I highly recommend it. We also shared the shepherds pie croquettes and those were great.

Great beef chili for an appetizer and the flat bread (mini pizza) was just perfect for a light supper! Definitely recommend Dillon's Local for a great meal and atmosphere, loved it!

Dillons is always my first place of choice when I have come back mid - evening from a music practice ...

Visited early evening and lucky to get a table as full. Despite being busy the service was quick and the staff attentive. The clam chowder was divine. Highly recommend.

We stopped here on our way up from the Cape. It was easy to get to from the highway. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the berry salad with grilled chicken. It was one of the best grilled chicken I have ever had. We had the pecan bread pudding for dessert. Heaven. The waitress was so enthusiastic! Great restaurant!

This is an amazing local find. The food comes out a little slower but you can tell by quality it's definitely worth the wait. Amazing food and drink menu makes this a place you will want to return to time and again. Just know the dining room is smaller so you may want to call ahead.

Excellent gastro-pub! Great choice of dishes and wonderful service! New Orleans bread pudding has competition here! Two thumbs up!!

Excellent. Drinks are generous, the staff is wicked friendly. And everything on the menu is great. The Cape Cod reuben is really good!

Great place for a drink and good food. We stopped in late after wandering around Plymouth. Waitress was accommodating and did a great job.

Really cute place outside the Main Street. Drinks were good and so was the chowder but our sandwiches were only decent for the price of $12. Would recommend to grab a drink and maybe try the brunch instead

Hidden in plain sight! Emily expertly served delicious, fresh, tasty food from a creative menu to our alfresco table with a view of the water. Perfect!

Great great food. The New England clam chowder is amazing and the steak and cheese is perfection!

Portions are somewhat small for our big eaters. There were four in our group. We ordered the pretzels with beer cheese and they were fantastic!! Everything came out piping hot and fresh. I had the clam chowder and it was some of the best I've had. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was too spicy for my taste. It was a lot of horseradish flavor and I didn't love it. Overall it was a great lunch experience.

What a great little spot! We were passing through the area and happily stopped in here. We initially were told a 20-30 minute wait but were seated shortly after walking in. The staff were super friendly and accommodating even to our 2.5 year old son. We had the corn appetizer which was super yummy. Then we enjoyed a selection of the sandwiches. The sweet potato and waffle fries were delicious! If you find yourself driving through Plymouth this is a great place to grab a bite to eat!

These guys stick to burgers, and they do them well. The blue cheese stuffed burger was very good. Solid fries. Good bar service too.

I'd heard their Shepard's Pie was worth the trip but I was very disappointed. Hamburger base with a bland gravy. I've had much much better. My date had a very good burger. I had a draft cider that was not very cold.

We came all away from Boston and I admit this place's food is way better than most place's in Boston area. We tried bacon scallop which the bacon wrapped the scallops and came in a sweet based sauce. The lettuce wrap was my favorite. There was an mysterious ingredient taste in every bite I had. The fish dices were also fantastic. As for the main entree, the cod one should be recommended. Soft cod coming in a milky broth was the best combination. Although the dishes might not look delicate, they really taste delicate and scrumptious.
