We stopped here on our way up from the Cape. It was easy to get to from the highway. The food was absolutely delicious! I had the berry salad with grilled chicken. It was one of the best grilled chicken I have ever had. We had the pecan bread pudding for dessert. Heaven. The waitress was so enthusiastic! Great restaurant!

Great place for a drink and good food. We stopped in late after wandering around Plymouth. Waitress was accommodating and did a great job.

Really cute place outside the Main Street. Drinks were good and so was the chowder but our sandwiches were only decent for the price of $12. Would recommend to grab a drink and maybe try the brunch instead

Great great food. The New England clam chowder is amazing and the steak and cheese is perfection!

Hidden in plain sight! Emily expertly served delicious, fresh, tasty food from a creative menu to our alfresco table with a view of the water. Perfect!

Portions are somewhat small for our big eaters. There were four in our group. We ordered the pretzels with beer cheese and they were fantastic!! Everything came out piping hot and fresh. I had the clam chowder and it was some of the best I've had. I ordered a Bloody Mary and it was too spicy for my taste. It was a lot of horseradish flavor and I didn't love it. Overall it was a great lunch experience.

What a great little spot! We were passing through the area and happily stopped in here. We initially were told a 20-30 minute wait but were seated shortly after walking in. The staff were super friendly and accommodating even to our 2.5 year old son. We had the corn appetizer which was super yummy. Then we enjoyed a selection of the sandwiches. The sweet potato and waffle fries were delicious! If you find yourself driving through Plymouth this is a great place to grab a bite to eat!

These guys stick to burgers, and they do them well. The blue cheese stuffed burger was very good. Solid fries. Good bar service too.

I'd heard their Shepard's Pie was worth the trip but I was very disappointed. Hamburger base with a bland gravy. I've had much much better. My date had a very good burger. I had a draft cider that was not very cold.

We came all away from Boston and I admit this place's food is way better than most place's in Boston area. We tried bacon scallop which the bacon wrapped the scallops and came in a sweet based sauce. The lettuce wrap was my favorite. There was an mysterious ingredient taste in every bite I had. The fish dices were also fantastic. As for the main entree, the cod one should be recommended. Soft cod coming in a milky broth was the best combination. Although the dishes might not look delicate, they really taste delicate and scrumptious.

What a great place, friendly staff and delicious food. We had the taco on flat bread and the bacon wrapped scallops for an appetizer. The restaurant was busy so it took a little while for the food to arrive but the drinks were delicious and soon enough out came the food. Straight off the grill, hot and tasty. For our entrees we ordered the Shepherds Pie and a Rib Filet. This course arrived just the right amount of time after the appetizers were finished, again, hot and cooked to perfection. Well done Dillon's Local you have a hit!

Service was great, The food overpriced and undercooked

Absolutely fantastic food and great service, couldn’t of been happier with our meals. My husband had scallops and I had the fish and chips- our kids had the pizza and even that tasted great! 10/10 would recommend

Great lunch with visiting family. Away from the crazy waterfront but still with a nice view

Had a fantastic meal at Dillon’s last night. Four of us all loved our meal: Chicken Piccata, Bourbon Steak tips, Swordfish special, and Cape Cod Reuben. Out of this world. Cocktails were equally great. We will be back for sure.

We totally enjoyed this pub. The food was hot, delicious and large portions. The drinks were great and competitively priced. The waitstaff and bar tender were so friendly! If we are ever in the area again we will stop back in!

Dillons a nice local pub with pretty exceptional grub! The ambiance is fantastically local. Seated promptly - wine by the glass reasonable - as others have reported the shepherds pie croquettes are divine...French Onion Soup was piping hot and a good amount of onions, cheese and toasted Bread. The beef tips and green beans and big steak fries were juicy, tasty and hot. The Portuguese Cod - oven roasted cod, little necks, linguica (chorizo wish there was more) and corn were only tarnished by a broken shell and a few of the clam necks were chewy...otherwise very tasty and hot - our server was fantastic and attentive. A must place to go whether your feeling like a pilgrim or not!

OMG, so delicious! Everything we had was so good! Everything very homemade and done too perfection. Look at their desserts, they speak for themselves!!

A day trip to Plymouth led us to this special spot. Dillon’s Local is a fabulous place to stop for lunch! The lobster BLT had the perfect amount of dressing and lots of lobster, mouth-watering. Suzanne, made our family feel welcomed and the service we received was like none other. When asked about things to do in the area, she was so gracious to share with us. This pub is decorated beautifully especially enjoyed the beautiful Mayflower mural on the wall. If you go to Plymouth, this is a must stop!

Portuguese Kale soup was amazing. The swordfish was good, but the Shepard's pie croquettes were really well done and unique. Will definitely be back.

Love Dillons local! Best food ever!! Colin and Sam run a fabulous restaurant.

We went in a dinner time and were seated immediately. Although not directly on the water, it's very close and the food is so good. Hubby had the Shepherd Pie which he said was excellent, I had the fish tacos which I've eaten lots of places, these were the very best I've ever had. Locally owned, you can't go wrong here!\n

Best clam chowder I've ever eaten. Glad I read the reviews and came in to find out for myself.

Came here for a quick bite with the fam on our way to Boston from Cape Cod. The food was good! My sister and I split one of the Greek specialty plates and the margarita pizza. Both were really good...especially the pizza! My mom and husband both got the bbq burger and (because I took a bite from my moms burger haha) was really tasty and the bbq sauce was on point! My sister got the meat lovers pizza and she liked it so much that she asked for one and a half slice to be boxed up for later. The reason I am giving a 4 and not a 5 is because the hostess and staff took about 30 min to get us a high chair for my baby niece. The food also took a while to get to the table.

This place is absolutely terrific! So close to giving it a 5. But regardless of score.. I can't say enough good things about this place Great vibe. Staff is aces.. Super friendly and very efficient. Nice local beer and cocktail options Food is excellent . Very very good stuff Real high quality local product here. I thoroughly enjoyed our experience here and will surely be back if in the area again!

This place is always good, having been here at least a few times now and we have never had bad luck with anything. They have my second favorite Shepherd's Pie, behind my wife's of course. I love the dark beef gravy they put in their pie. This is true comfort food that I could eat until I am completely full with no room for desert. So of course that is what I got this time. My wife's fish and chips was very good and a big piece of fish.

Shepherds pie is to die for. I had to force myself to stop eating it all at once. Too good to stop. It took will power. It made another lunch. 😋😋

Enjoyed a great local lunch. Food was well-prepared, service was great. Shepherd’s pie pizza was awesome, Jameson jam burger was delicious and cocktails were done well. Really enjoyed the entire lunch experience.

We had lunch at Dillon's Local last week and had a great experience. First off, the highlight for me was the bloody mary. It was spicy, flavorful, and delicious. Our clam chowder was amazing too because it had bacon in it! Definitely a fun twist. I ordered the california chicken sandwich was average to pretty good, but nothing amazing. The waffle fries were good, and they had a good selection of items on the menu, so I think this is a good option for a lunch stop.

First night of our visit we went for a walk on the waterfront. We were relaxing from our long drive and decided to try Dillons. It was great. Great food good choices, drinks and nice clientele. Everyone was watching the hockey game on the TV. Great atmosphere friendly group of people. Waitress was excellent

Just got home from our first dinner at Dillon's Local. We had heard the food was terrific and we found that to be absolutely true. My husband had the Guinness Fish and Chips which was a huge plate of fish and steak fries with cole slaw. It came piping hot from the kitchen and it was excellent. I had the pan seared salmon with strawberry/blueberry salsa over risotto (lemon mascarpone I think) and grilled asparagus. It was cooked perfectly and was delicious! A few dollars more than cheap chain restaurant food but so worth it.

Yummy pub food, with lots of options. Friendly and helpful staff, fast service. My husband and I plan on taking friends and family here when they visit from out of town!

Noisy with the afterwork crowd at the bar, but exceptional food and great service. Wonderful hamburgers as well as more exotic fare.

Great food, decent prices, good location, friendly staff.
