Got a to go order of mini cupcakes. Parked on North Street and they brought the order right out to my truck. Totally worth it. Their treats are delicious, plus we found out our 2 year old loves coconut!
Friendly staff and great service! Super delicious!
The staff of Guilty Bakery is friendly and knowledgeable. Eating one of their desserts is an experience you will talk about for days on end. At first, you may be hesitant to take a bite out of something so beautiful, as all of their desserts are stunning! Those who have tasted their baked goods don’t bother taking the time to appreciate the beauty of them because they don’t want to waste another second not enjoying the deliciousness. Shout out to Kylee who recommended the Coconut Lemon Mini Cupcake. If I could relive one moment of my life, it would be the .4 seconds I spent eating that. This place is worth giving a try, and worth going again and again.
Guilty Bakery made our wedding cake this past July. Every flavor we tasted was delicious so it was a hard choice, but we absolutely loved the strawberry shortcake. We had so many guests tell us it was the best wedding cake they’d ever had! I really appreciated the team’s ability to help me narrow down a decision on how to decorate the cake, and that they really respected the simple but beautiful style we wanted. My only regret is forgetting to take the top tier home from the reception venue!
We used Guilty Bakery for our wedding cake and cupcakes - and it was amazing. We went in for a tasting and sampled a number of different flavors, every one of which was SO good. Amy and Krista listened to everything we were thinking of doing, asked great questions and showed us what they could do to meet our budget and preferences. They even set up and decorated the cupcake table when they delivered everything - and it looked fantastic. The two-tier funfetti cake was delicious and looked exactly like what I was imagining. The mini cupcakes were a huge hit with our guests and flew off the table! Thank you guys! We’ll be back soon for sure!
We selected Guilty Bakery for cupcakes and a 2 tier cutting cake for our wedding in June 2019, mostly because our venue recommended them and did not charge a cake cutting fee if we used them. The wedding cake was the only disappointment in our entire wedding.
I ordered a cake for my mom's 80th birthday- we did the "strawberry shortcake" flavor, 6"cake for 6 adults and 2 kids. It was perfect- beautifully decorated, delicious, and not too sweet. It was actually a little better the second day when the creme anglaise had seeped into the layers a bit. Would highly recommend for a special occasion!
Amy and Krista were so great to work with! I first had them make my husbands 30th Birthday cake with a custom Mississippi mud pie flavor and then just last month they made our wedding cake! Their frosting is light and tasted, cake is moist and they have a great variety of flavors.
Great little place for a nice little treat
I came to Guilty to get a special cake for my grand daughter's birthday. She was very specific she wanted a dark chocolate cake with fresh strawberries between the layers and chocolate frosting. None of the supermarket bakeries could accommodate my request. Guilty had a chocolate strawberry cake that checked all the boxes. It was the freshest most delicious cake I ever had. My granddaughter was giddy! It was exactly what she wanted. The adults at the party couldn't believe a 10 year old requested this cake. Please do yourself a favor. If you have a special occasion have Guilty make it even more special by preparing a cake that will be unforgettable! Thank You Guilty! My granddaughter thinks I hung the moon! Mrsb52
Guilty Bakery has amazing cakes. The designs are phenomenal. It is like they are cake wizards. And the themed cookies! So Cute and perfect for ANY occasion. I love this place.
Great little bakery, nice looking items to choose from. Worth the walk
LOVE THIS COMPANY! I live in NH and have cookies mailed up for special events- and they are always a hit!! The cookies arrive exactly when they say they will and are always in perfect (and tasty) condition. The girls at the bakery are very creative and are willing to try any pinterest picture i send their way! I just ordered retirement cookies to be shipped down to FLA- and i know they wont disappoint! I highly recommend this bakery!
paid $50 for the WRONG CAKE called and they didn’t care! Drove over a half hour to pick it up, paid top dollar for a cake that went in the trash as no one eats chocolate- not even an apology apparently they have never heard of customer service
Love this bakery and the fact that ship custom orders to anywhere!
Sorry, but I have to be the one who says it ... the baked goods in this place are awful. All you can taste is the cheap, nasty vegetable shortening they use instead of butter. It overwhelms whatever flavor they try to convince you it is. I've never had a brownie before that didn't taste chocolaty and gooey until today. I've also never had a chocolate sandwich cookie with nutella filling that didn't have nutella in it, just some artifically flavored shortening filling. The macarons were overly sweet. The cupcakes were dry with that same mouth-coating shortening frosting. Don't waste your money.
Nothing like driving a half an hour and paying 50$ for the wrong cake!!! I will never go back nor will I ever refer anyone to this bakery again their work was beautiful but....get your orders right!!! The cake ended up in the trash because nobody eats chocolate way to go guilty bakery!
I found a out Guilty Bakery through a website that raves about their cakes. I decided to give it a try for my son's 1st birthday/gender reveal. I strictly communicate with them through email and told them what I wanted for the cake. a I had my husband dropped off the gender reveal card a couple of days before picking up the cake. Not only are they genuinely nice but they are also efficient and the cake turned out exactly the way that I wanted it. It was beautiful and very moist and delicious. I had a 2 tier cake with the 1st tier being cookies and cream and the 2nd tier being carrot. I loved it so much and couldn't be happier. The price was very decent. It was $130 for the great artwork. Thank you so much for doing such an awesome job!!!
I contacted Guilty Bakery with short notice for a custom cake for our daughter’s Christening. Everyone I spoke to at the bakery was extremely nice and helpful. Not only were they able to accommodate our order but the cake was AMAZING, we had a two tier Guilty Signature flavor cake. Will definitely use Guilty Bakery for any special events.
Amazing desserts! The chocolate cream pie brownie was the best brownie ive ever had! The macaroons are tasty. The whoopie pies are addicting!
Some of the best French macaroons you will ever have
Great macarons at $1.75 pp and fancy brownies! So glad we stumbled upon you Guilty Bakery!
I emailed them on short notice in regards to my moms birthday. She said don’t worry will make it nice for mom! When I picked it up I was speechless. It was a beautiful cake. We were all impressed. The cake was delicious. My mom is from England and said it’s one of the best cakes she’s had in America. She’s been here 35 years! Thank you all again so much.
So.. I'm actually not from Plymouth or anywhere near the bakery. This was a recommendation to me from my sister in law for my wedding this past June. She said she knows this great bakery near her house and it will be perfect if we get our wedding cake from them. I'm from San Francisco but my husband is from Worcester. His twin sister lives in Duxbury and our wedding was in Duxbury. I initiated the contact with Guilty Bakery via email back in February. Instantly, I got a response. And they sounded so excited to do my cake - without even meeting me or knowing what I wanted! So we kept discussing my cake via email and as we started to get closer to my date, I decided to have my sister in law do the tasting and decide for us. She's got an Italian restaurant and knows A LOT about food and cake so I figured since we couldn't just fly one weekend to Massachusetts for a tasting, why not have my sister in law do it for us? She's not just my sister in law but she's also our wedding planner so perfect, right? I set up an appointment for my sister in law and Guilty to do the cake tasting. They're twins so I figured she'd know what my husband would like. I also sent her the flavors I want so she had an idea. So then the cake tasting came and my sister in law was so happy with her experience. Well, I expected nothing less because since the beginning of my inquiry, they were efficient and quick! I told my sister in law how exactly I want my cake to look like. I sent GB some photos too so they have an idea. I asked my sister what flavors we were going to go for and she said "we will surprise you. Just wait! And.. I'll get the cake for you.. it will be my wedding present". I was like... WHOA WHAT? Ah! Then my day came. I didn't see the dessert table until the time my husband and I were about to cut the cake.. but before the ceremony I asked my Maid of Honor how it looked. She said "they looked stunning". They? She had 2 cakes for us. The groom's cake had his brother's favorite Oreo filling and double chocolate. I had a customized funny topper that ended up on top of his cake - it was sooo perfect! And our beautiful wedding cake - gosh.. besides the fresh flowers just like how I pictured it to be.. plus the delicious filling. Our guests were over the moon with that cake - we didn't have any left overs besides our piece. Our guests loved it so much that they wanted to take it home. It was sooooooo yummy! My sister in law/wedding planner wanted to keep the groom's cake for us so we had it the next day. We served it over brunch for our guests the next day and it was so delicious- perfect for coffee! I enjoyed our cakes so much that even if I don't live there, I only order treats from them for any kind of celebrations. It was my sister in law's bday this coming Nov. 1st and I had pre-ordered a dozen of customized cupcakes for her. With her name and her age - she turns 50. I sent GuiltyBakery a few pictures as examples and they did very close to that. My sister in law was surprised and happy! She loved them. Overall, I can't say enough great things about this bakery. The fact that they did our stunning wedding cake - just like how I imagined it to be.. was a dream come true. Thanks so much Guilty Bakery!
Amazing pumpkin spice latte and baked treats!
1.5/5 for the donuts Empty around 9:30AM (opening) on a rainy Sunday morning. Pros: -Donuts on Sundays -Lots of delicious looking pastries -Adorable decor -Great service Cons: -Pricey -Donut dough is really heavy/chewy and has an odd taste to it -- $2.50 for specialty donuts and $2 for regular Pumpkin Glaze This was possibly a cake donut with pumpkin glaze. It was a little hard to tell, but this donut was definitely cakier than the others. It was crispier on the edges than others, which was kind of nice, but it was a bit too sweet for me. Chocolate Frosted Yeast(?) donut with chocolate frosting and orange sprinkles. The frosting was OK but the dough on these yeast donuts was super heavy and chewy. As someone who prefers light and fluffy donuts, they weren't for me. Coffee Oreo Yeast(?) donut with coffee glaze and crumbled oreos. The toppings were fine, but didn't make up for the base dough. Plain Glaze Plain glazed (yeast?) donut. This one was probably the worst--we thought it tasted a little like alcohol but couldn't figure out if the source was the dough or the glaze. If I went back, I'd try one of their other good looking options, like a cheesecake bar.
I contacted Guilty Bakery via email after finding them on Yelp. I was taking my friend away for her 50th birthday and thought a gorgeous, delectable cake would be a great touch. After my friend's husband helped me with a flavor decision, I asked the bakery whether they could do a 6" seaside themed Guilty Signature. They wrote back promptly and were excited to help me surprise my friend. You can see from the video that they do incredible work. I'm just sorry you can't taste it. This cake was perfection. It wasn't overly sweet. The cake was moist, and the filling was light as air and full of macarons. We may have had cake for breakfast one day. Thank you, Guilty Bakery, for helping me surprise my friend!
Super delicious great service!
I ordered a cake for my cousins bridal shower this weekend and it came out perfectly! I communicated with them solely by email and sent them a picture of my idea and they executed it perfect. I ordered the funfetti cake with buttercream which was delicious and a crowd hit. I also ordered the macaroons which I thought were very reasonably priced compared to other bakeries around me. They were soft and melt in your mouth and the nutella one was insanely good. My husband purchased me two cakes here for my 30th birthday celebration and they were equally as delicious. I personally think they are priced well for the quality and they do beautiful work. I would definitely return here for future occasions.
The cookies for the baby shower were done very nice !! And the matching cupcakes were a terrible mess ! The cupcakes had big black balls on mini cupcakes. Ya im not kidding. But the bakery said they could PICK them off . Im sooo disappointed. I would never place another order with them again. Definatly not worth my $190.00 spent there.
Just go... You won't be disappointed by the delicious treats and the staff is extremely friendly, welcoming, and informative on all the tasty treats.
Oh la la.... the best French macaroons I've have stateside... best right behind La Duree in Paris. Honestly, that damn good. Great little shop, every time I'm on Main Street I always stop in for a bakers dozen! A must go to, must do, must try!
I love Guilty Bakery! They did a tremendous job on a graduation cake and mascot cookies! Everything was delicious and looked great. The owners and employee's were all very attentive and are wicked nice too!! Definitely recommend for any occasion!!
We took out a whoopie pie and a huge brownie. They we boxed beautifully and boy were they good. Great little shop.
Small family run. Great as not name brand mermaid. Staff was very nice. All coffees and sweets were happily consumed. My wife realy liked the sweet staff and sweet treats.
I ordered a last minute cake from Guilty Bakery recently. Not only did they come through with a beautiful cake but it was also absolutely delicious! I can't say enough about this bakery! Quality cakes and friendly service.
After lunch at T-Bones Roadhouse we needed something sweet. Walking back to the car we passed guilty bakery. And stopped in!!! Macaroons and cookie sandwiches and cupcakes. Just the right size for a snack. Worth checking out if your in town. For sure
