114 Water St, Plymouth
The restaurant with the million dollar view. Valet parking is a good idea on water street. The restaurant is very popular with tourists and local people too. Delicious food and desserts. Good service. Prices arent cheap, but worth it. They have a function room that won't quit. Built in a former linen mill right on the Plymouth waterfront. Fantastic air conditioning on the hottest days of the year. A really great bar. The whole interior is brass and glass and lovely. Very comfortable and clean. Absolutely five stars! I have eaten there with my wife on special occasions and we enjoyed our food and the ambience was very nice indeed. Make that six stars.
I was there with 4 other people all of us were very satisfied with our meals. Service was courteous and prompt. Prices were good especially when you consider the waterfront location in a tourist town. Free parking in rear.
It was a very enjoyable Experience. The food and service was excellent, The view from my table was even better! Very relaxing, would recommended highway to others.
Walked in and we’re IMMEDIATELY stared at up and down, by 3 different waitresses. When asked how many were in our party we got a handful and a half of attitude, and were told to wait. After we decided to leave we were treated like low life pigs. The hostess said and I quote “They are leaving”, in a rude and unnecessary tone. We will NEVER be walking in to this establishment EVER again, the amount of sass we received in under 7 minutes is absolutely unruly. I am very disappointed and would not recommend it to even my worst enemy.
Seafood restaurant with a pleasant balcony looking out over Plymouth waterfront. The menu has plenty of choice and it’s hard to know what to pick. It’s not cheap, but the food is good, the portions large, the staff friendly and the view fantastic. Plus there's a parking lot around the back where they park your car for you!
Great food and view
Celebrated my 21st birthday here. Food was great and the service was wonderful. Would definitely go back.
Had a great experience in here with my son. The food came rapidly and the customer service is just awesome. Prices are affordable.
Awesome food, very friendly employees, always fantastic ambience. They charge fair pricing and the food quality is great. Kudos.
I'll literally never come back. The older blonde hostess is one of the rudest restaurant workers I've ever encountered. She picks and chooses who she thinks should get the best tables and will seat you in horrible seats by the bar or in a corner if she doesn't like the way you look. I wish I could give zero stars. Fire that lady, she's definitely causing you to lose business.
Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The clam chowder was excellent. The fried platter was delicious and everything was cooked just right. Thanks for a nice dinner.
Food is always good. Good size portions. Prices are reasonable. My favorite is the fried scallops. Lightly fried.
This restaurant is located right on the waterfront close to Plymouth Rock. The views of the water are great. The service was excellent. All the food at the table was delicious and portion sizes were huge. An entree could easily feed two people.
The fish and chips are the best anywhere. Huge thick portions delicately cooked and flaky. Basic fare with an unbeatable view. They serve a great glass of wine and the bar staff are exceptional.
One of my favorite restaurants on Plymouth's waterfront. Excellent food and quality service. I've never had a bad meal there!
Good food for a great price. The server was very helpful.
Pleasantly surprised. After many years of just driving by this restaurant we finally decided to stop in on a recommendation from a friend. Great atmosphere, terrific service, and the view of the water while you eat is great. All the food looked very good and reasonably priced. I had the fish and chips & chowder, but they offer a wide selection of food. I came away very satisfied with my meal. I would rate my meal 4.5 stars and wouldn't think twice about recommending this restaurant and looking forward to my next visit.
The cuisine and atmosphere is exquisite. Great food and service. Issac's Seafood medley I'm heading there today for some more!
Food was ok. Rather pricey for a larger family. Drinks were good, but expensive. If you are looking for a nice dinner with a view, I would recommend this place.
The decor reminded me of a 50s Vegas lounge. We found that the menu on the web hadn't been updated in a while, either; prices in the restaurant were consistently higher than online. Service was OK. Food was unremarkable. Not recommended,
Great lunch special Fish and chips & salmon over arugula and fresh fruit Very good taste and excellent service by Tony
Service was excellent and the food was perfect, the atmosphere was relaxing and we were right on the waterfront..
What a Fabulous Luncheon ...Love It At Issacs ! The Best Staff And Excellent Chef. Never Disappointed
Great food and good service. Stopped for lunch while in Plymouth. Great view out large windows.
Great door and great atmosphere but need to do better with lactose intolerant gluten-free
My partner and I were in town for a mini weekend getaway. Isaac's was walking distance and I saw the Fettuccine Neptune on the menu so we decided to go on Sunday around 7pm. We were seated immediately, although the hostess wasn't friendly to us (didn't make eye contact/walked away as she told us our server would be there soon, then slapped a drink menu on our table in passing about 5 minutes later.) Luckily our waitress Danielle was STELLAR which more than made up for this! She was so attentive, had a sparkling personality, and was very helpful with the menu. Service was fast - we ordered the fried vegetables app and it was huge and delicious (the garlic parmesan dipping sauce is to die for!). Glasses of wine were large as well. Our food came promptly and the portions were so big! My partner really enjoyed the steak tips, and the Fettuccine Neptune was literally out of this world. And there was so much of it that I had to take it home and it fed me for two more meals. The ambiance was calming and quiet - a nice change from the beachy vibes of other places, and felt more upscale. Great place for a romantic dinner with big portions at a very reasonable price! Would return for sure :)
The inital wait to get seated was a bit long. The appetizer was fairly small, but okay. The food tasted good. The food choices all seemed healthy. It was a bit pricey for what you got. However it should be expected since so close to the water. All in all it was pretty good. Don't know if I would want to go there again or not.
The waitress was amazing! The food was yummy. The atmosphere was decent. I'd recommend it to a friend! 😉
This is the place to go if you like fish. The Flounder was fantastic and the service was great. Love the experience. Highly recommended to everyone.
Very nice restaurant on the water w/ nice views.. indoor/outdoor seating.. really nice, professional, and attentive wait staff.. thoroughly enjoyed the meal and experience of the dining room.
I have always loved this restaurant but after my experience tonight I won’t be coming back. We always liked to come here for special occasions such as family birthdays. We were out celebrating my birthday tonight and the waitress from our initial greeting was very unpleasant. Sounds like someone else encountered the same waitress in a previous comment. We are a laid back family and certainly not high maintenance but if you don’t like your job, please find another. People skills are important when dealing with the public, especially food servers. Another downfall was we waited over an hour for our food and was told that the reason why was because they had a function room full of people. I have never waited this long for a meal here. Not sure what is going on but we unfortunately won’t be back.
The hostess was not inviting, actually rude . Waitress was indifferent and 'having a bad day' until the check came. Food did come out quickly however it tasted just okay. Nothing to write home about. I had lobster with shrimp clams and scallops. The shrimp were good. The decor looks like it did 20 years ago. The view was nice overlooking the bay. I cannot say I would recommend or go back.
We at dinner here at a slow time so we felt comfortable ordering off menu for some things. The waitress and chef were very accomodating and the food was fabulous.
We had a wonderful meal. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. They sat us in an area that we could look out at the boats on the water. What a beautiful spot..
Absolutely terrible. Very disappointed. This use to be one of Are favorite restaurant in Plymouth. We haven't been there in a couple of years. I ordered whole bell clams. If you like eating sand this place is for you. My wife ordered the special Fish haddock and artichoke. There wasn't one artichoke and the fish look like it went through a food processor. All mush. She couldn't even eat it. We complain to the waiter. But they still charged us for the meal and we couldn't get out of there fast enough. We go out dinner about every two weeks. I have never said this about any other restaurant. We will never go back to this place again.
The outdoor seating was really pretty and the service was good. The food was basic, not as good as it should be for the money though. The indoor seating is very outdated. Unless they infuse some passion into the food, I wouldn't return.
Isaac's is my new favorite local spot on tue Plymouth waterfront! There are plenty of places to go but none with what Isaac's has to offer. Location and view, directly across from Plymouth harbor and free parking too. Watch the boats and the sunset from virtually ANY seat. Dine indoors or out. Wide variety of reasonably priced menu options to suit anyone's taste and a bar and wait staff that is always pleasant! Man can they make a drink!!! I am honestly NEVER disappointed!!!
Used to be good. Now is pretty disappointing. I asked for a clean bread plate for our table...the waitress brought a replacement but had to search several other tables for a clean replacement. The restaurant has the old carpet smell. I ordered the broiled scallops, they tasted of ammonia. Suffered from the after effects for hours! Never again!
This is more of an adult restaurant . Has a step up balcony to overlook the water and boats. It does have an elevator and also a patio.\nThe food was good but I do favor the East Bay Grill for it's food.
