Our dinner on December 30 was perfect. We were seated by a charming hostess at a requested table out on the porch. Our meal was delicious and the salmon entrees perfectly cooked. Our server Christian was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.

We enjoyed our dinner very much. The server was very pleasant as was the ambiance. We would've appreciated being asked when we wanted our vegetable side to come to the table. In our case, it arrived as an appetizer, and was intended to be eaten with our meal. Also, when asked to pay the bill, we were asked whether 20% could be added. We realized later that the 20% included the tax on the meal. We do not think that is appropriate and the tax should not be added in to calculate the tip.

Great time here. Food was very good. Limited options for folks with gluten allergies. Drink menu has a number of great options Dining and bar area is adds to the experience inside a wonderful hotel on the coast.

Amazingly boring food. Dinner rolls were probably heated-up frozen rolls. The special halibut didn't seem very fresh, was overcooked, and had no interesting sauce -- just a rather bland pea sauce. It came with risotto that seemed as if it came out of a package. The beet salad was ok. The lava cake for dessert wasn't bad.

Took a chance on Thanksgiving dinner here and was DELIGHTED! 4 courses, perfectly timed, not rushed at all. The food was delicious, our server Christian was lovely and the experience overall exceeded expectations. And who doesn’t love roses in bloom in November in the northeast? :) Can’t wait to come back in summer and try it again with their regular menu.

Service was excellent. Everyone was so attentive, kind and friendly. Our table was ready as soon as we walked in. The food was perfect. Filet Mignon, Lobster Papardale and deviled eggs for an appetizer. Highly recommended.

As always, we were greated warmly, service was fantastic and the food was top notch. We had the halibut special & the jerk chicken pasta. We left with clean plates so should tell you how good the food was. Can't wait to go back next time in Ptown.

We live in town and The Pointe Restaurant is the one restaurant in Provincetown that we have repeatedly gone to over the course of the 2023 season. We have never been disappointed and will continue to recommend The Pointe to our local friends and visitors.

Two words: ON "POINTE " in every single aspect of this dining experience!! Christian, my server, was friendly, knowledgeable, KNEW the menu and what suggestions to make[which I ordered for app, dinner and dessert], he visited with me, brought me a local magazine....I felt like i knew him! Food? OMG. Calamari perfection, then halibut with parm risotto and a sweet pea sauce.... this chef knew his stuff and then some.... just incredible, impeccable, extraordinary. 11 out of 10. Simple.... GO. THERE!!

We had learned of The Pointe as one of the best restaurants in the area. We were not disappointed. The lobster and pappardelle were fantastic, as were the Swordfish and Halibut. The appetizers we tasted were the escargot and the squid. They were outstanding. The desserts too were exceptional. Rounded out with perfect cocktails, the evening was perfect!

Delicious warm rolls to start followed by lobster poached in butter with tagliatelle. Very rich but tasty and good sized portion. I added roasted asparagus which were perfectly cooked. My husband had cod with Parmesan risotto & he enjoyed it very much. Would return!

Al fresco on the terrace at the Pointe is rapidly becoming our fave out-to-dinner situation. Incredible service, from the moment you're welcomed and seated. Our server, Christian, pushed this evening to its fifth star. Don't miss the escargots with puffed pastry or the butter-poached (never frozen) lobster over house-made pappardelle. The filet mignon on its bed of pureed potatoes is the perfect size. The Bright Cosmo is delectable and the lemon pie (think key lime vs meringue) is a lot of fun (get 2 forks). Don't forget to enjoy the exquisite small gardens on the terrace and property - they provide privacy from the street below and you, too, may have a multi-tiered fountain planted with annuals and a vintage street light beside your table.

The evening was quieting down for the restaurant around our reservation time and we were surprised that the service slowed down as well. Our apps and 1st course came out quick and together and then our meal came 45 min later , so there was a lot of wait time. A time where our server was not scene, where he could have gotten us more beverages, more bread etc. so we didn't feel forgotten. When the food did come out it was cold. We love the Pointe and dine there often, was very surprised by this "off night" so to speak.
