So happy to have walked in on a whim! Great experience. We ordered red wine, an espresso martini (best my partners had) and a small pepperoni pizza. We weren't very hungry but ended up finishing the pizza within a few minutes - it was that good! Perfect crust, those nice small, cupped pepperonis were crispy and flavorful and the sauce was so fresh and perfect We actually loved the pizza so much we ordered a large the next day (they offer delivery and pick up via their website). It's a small place, but very cute and cozy - almost no one else in the place when we walked in on a Sunday afternoon (given it was Easter). I guess as of the 17th/18th of this month they are expanding the menu for more dinner options and desert cocktails. Will definitely be back I am excited to return and try the boozy gelato, pastas and pastries

Best coffee and best gelato in Quincy. Great tiramisu. And not too expensive.

Warmer weather calls for ice cream (or gelato, rather), so I decided to check out this cafe. I like that it opens early and closes late so that I can satisfy my cravings whenever they decide to hit. The ice cream/gelato menu is behind you when you walk in, which was a bit confusing. I ordered the tiramisu and pistachio gelato ($4.59/2 scoops) and a waffle cone ($2.00). The waffle cone isn't made in-house, unfortunately, but I just wanted that extra crunch. The scoops were quite small, so the price is expensive for what you get. However, both flavors tasted good. The pistachio did not taste artificial and had some pistachio bits. The tiramisu was chocolatey with an espresso undertone. Both the gelato and the waffle cone were a tad on the sweeter side but definitely hit the spot. This place also sells pastries, but I wasn't interested because they looked like they had been sitting out/weren't popular since everything was still in stock. You can also order coffee, of course.Overall, worth checking out if you're in the area, but I probably would not go out of my way unless they happen to increase the portion sizes. I might come back to try the affogato, though.

Despite the promise of authenticity, the absence of an Italian crew is noticeable. While the menu features traditional dishes, the experience is marred by the bartender's lack of knowledge regarding the wine selection, leaving much to be desired for wine enthusiasts. However, the predominantly South American staff injects warmth into the atmosphere, albeit not always aligned with the Italian theme.Shortly, while this place attempts to deliver an authentic experience, inconsistencies detract from its charm. For those seeking a true taste of Italy, it may fall short of expectations.

Food is okay but not great. The rules for the space are very strict and the dude with the beard who acts like the owner is very rude and lacks customer service. Tried to be a regular patron but it's just not worth it.

I've lived in quincy and tried all of the major food places. Cafe Gelato stands out, the food makes you feel like you're in Italy. I lived abroad and can say it's the highest quality Italian food. I bring my family at least once a week because we want to support such a great place! The Gelato is outstanding and the pizza is amazing. We love the Fig Procutto and 4 cheese. We haven't had a thing we didn't enjoy.Parking: You can find on street free parking. It's worth the walk.Kid-friendliness: We bring our kids after going to the library as a treat, this place never disappoints. My kids love the setup.

Affogato? 10/10. Pizza? 10/0. Coffee? 10/10. Wish I had been feeling hydrated enough to have a drink because the boozy gelatos looked like they would be fantastic ???

Came here for dinner. It’s a sit down restaurant but you have to go up to a counter to place your order and return your menus. I got a bacon and pepperoni pizza. It was ok. Crust was fine but sauce was very acidic and was incredibly greasy. My date had the pesto Alfredo pasta. She really like it but they had the smallest little shrimps you could possibly find. You have to ask them to buzz you in to the bathroom which is weird. Gelato was good a creamy. Even though they don’t have waitstaff the register still recommends tips with options for 22%, 20% and 15%. All in all I wouldn’t return for dinner but would come here for deserts.

Love this place! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. I’ve ordered several different items and they have been amazing. Their chicken bacon ranch sandwich is delicious and the marinated steak tips are out of this world. Give them a try, you won’t regret it!
