Excellent, friendly sailing club. Our daughter has benefitted tremendously from the challenges and growth opportunities given in their Youth Sailing program. After three months of being homebound during the pandemic, to be out on the water in a semi-social setting was a breath of live into her spirit we haven't seen in months. Very happy to have this institution in town.

Great yacht club! Harbormaster allowed us to tie up so that we could shop and have lunch. Can't wait to go back.

SBYC is a small unpretentious racing/social club. Looking to meet people from all walks of like who enjoy sailing, racing and regular social events? Don't know how to sail but want to learn? Why not learn at SBYC? It worth a look. You'll not be disappointed.

a buddy grew up in these parts and his family longtime members. was only too happy to join up for a sail aboard a New England-made Rhodes 19 (club fleet) from Rockport Harbor toThacher Island, a 50 acre wildlife refuge on Cape Ann with the only operating twin lighthouses remaining in America. it was an easy cruise on the way, then picked up sporting wind and speed back...awesome memorial day on the water. http://www.lighthouse.cc/thacher/history.html
