This was my first time eating here and i went with others who have been before. Not gonna get into the service because i feel like our waiter was still learning but the food was subpar. We had the focaccia as an appetizer and it was so bland and dry, the worst I've ever had. We all got something from their pasta selection and the only thing we'd recommend is the chicken piccata or the bolognese.

We had a cocktail at the bar before being seated and liked the bartender best of all. Calamari appetizer was spicy due to jalapeños in it. Dinner was good, server was nice and polite.

We just ate here i only give 1 start because the wings were good first off they dont give bread you have to buy it that should of told us something the rest of the meal awful i asked for chicken broccoli ziti garlic and oil and instead of sauteed chicken can i add cutlet instead they said no problem i got fettuccini with broc in a pool of oil and a think cutlet on the side did not touch it nasty the kids got ravioli with gravy it came with a thick cream sauce with spinach on top not just plain gravy they were 72 dollars for 3 orders they might of eaten 4 of them all together the sauce was gross the marsala the chicken so overcooked like rubber my mom ate a few bites they charged us 300 dollars with automatic graduity we had to stop at mcdonalds after because kids were so hungry unexcusable waste of money

We visited assembly Square for the first time and chose La Cucina for our dinner. We ate on their sidewalk patio near the light bedecked trees of Assembly Square but it appeared their inside has ambiance. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. We enjoyed red wine sangria glasses with substantial fruit. My companion selected chicken parm entree and declared its bread coating and chicken flavorful. It came with linguine whose sauce was unexpectedly more tomato chunks but she liked it. I was delighted that although not appearing on the menu the chef prepared me an excellent cod piccata. Portions were large. It's a pricey place but worth it. My only criticism was that the waitress did not catch my request to leave he spinach of my entree. It makes me ill but I ate around it. It was more decorative than a side order.

This was a truly awful experience. We were all looking forward to a warm bowl of pasta and a couple drinks on a Friday night. The service here was absolutely atrocious, made worse by the maybe the worst manager I have ever encountered. Our appetizers, which were a burrata salad and focaccia bread, took nearly 30 minutes. When our food came out, one of the three people's meal was incorrect. For reasons which escape me, instead of just leaving the wrong meal with the person who had been waiting for 40+ minutes for her food and also getting her correct meal, the server took away the incorrect food. Which left one of our friends without a meal while the other two had theirs. Her corrected meal took ten extra minutes. The food was also garbage - the pasta was soggy and the food was markedly under seasoned. But what really took the cake was when we asked to speak the manager, she was SO rude to us and immediately responded by saying "well we told everyone who came in that the kitchen was 45 minutes behind." When we told her that no one told us that, she essentially shrugged and told us our server had started two weeks ago. When we got our bill, the wrong entree was still on there (and had been overcharged so we had to ask them to reissue the bill) and after all of that, the manager comped ONLY the bread! This whole experience completely ruined our night. Don't waste your time going here!

The waitress we had, Natalia, was outstanding!! She was efficient, very friendly, and created a positive energy all around her. I would ask to be seated at one of her tables again. Or maybe all the waitstaff and service personnel there are as wonderful. If so, kudos to whomever is providing training and guidelines on customer service.

I'm really disappointed...We had high expectations for this restaurant. The food was meh and the service was terrible. As a former waitress... I was shocked. Our waitress was not attentive at all. She walked by many times and never stopped to check in or offer to grab an empty plate or serve us another beverage. The fried calamari was over cooked. The meatballs were alright and the spinach ravioli was watery and soggy... we don't plan to return or recommend.

Based on tasty drinks and really nice bartenders including Tim who was great to chat with when we were hopping around Assembly with a friend in town! All bartenders attentive and accommodating. Will definitely come back to have dinner with my fiancé! P.s. super comfortable bar chairs.

Overall outstanding! The food was meticulously presented, well seasoned and flavorsome! The service by Miguel was great, very friendly and attentive to all of our requests and questions regarding the menu. The place was cozy; its ambience, lighting and view were right up my alley!

I have been a couple of times to this place and food is just great!! the burrata and wings are just delicious. the bar is beautiful and the chairs are super comfortable, makes you want to stay there all night. wine and liquor list are a bit small but still a good selection

some of the worst italian food ive ever had. tomato sauce tasted like it was their first time trying. nice big pool of water at the bottom of the pasta. ordered a glass of wine for 13 bucks and it didnt even go up to the bulge in the glass so nice tiny pour. never ever going back. huge fail.

We had such a lovely evening. Everything was just perfect! The fantastic service, a perfect cocktail, my salmon dish and the table! You nailed it LaCucina! Gold medal from me. We will be back!

Excellent and friendly service. Hostess and waiter were both very conversational and approachable. Seating is beautiful with great views. Food is high-quality and tasty, and overall the atmosphere is great.

This was our second visit. The food is delicious - we had the polenta fries & meatballs appetizers & both were delicious. My daughter had the Pasta Bolognese & husband had the shrimp scampi- both were excellent. I had the GF pasta ala Amatriciana - it was good but not amazing & the kitchen forgot to add chicken. Our server, Brianna was excellent. She was quick & friendly & knew the menu. Our first visit, the food was good but the service was very uneven - I had to go ask for service after we were seated & no one came over for 15 mins. Then we had 2 waiters helping us (which was strange) and they didn't seem to know what the other was doing. Very glad we gave it another try- will definitely return.

Overpriced for what it is. There are much better Italian options with better quality that costs less. My Margarita tasted like it was half full of water. The mussels tasted good however many were closed. My girlfriend's salmon salad came out 20 minutes before my meal. Restaurants should never bring out one meal before the other! So we stared awkwardly at her salmon as it got cold. By the time my meal came out her salmon was cold. I got shrimp (spaghetti fra diavolo). It was good, Not great. Sauce tasted very plain without much flavor. Shrimp was average at best. I have had much better for cheaper elsewhere and will not be going back.
