In Philly its cheesesteaks. Here the regional specialty: Grinders! The pastrami grinder with grilled peppers and onions is the best I've had in New England! Go here you will love it!

Baystate Pizza is a true hidden gem. Don't come expecting fancy decor or the like. The wallpaper is early 70s and there are only 2 booths. It's mostly locals, and is mainly takeout. Unlike chain sandwich shops, your deli meat is sliced in front of you, the bread made locally and is fresh then toasted in an old oven.
