I was working in Springfield Massachusetts for a week and found the Caribbean Food Mart located at 11 Dorset St. I had the pleasure of eating the Oxtails and the Stew Chicken. The service and food was sooooo good I ate there almost everyday, and even had to go back before I left town. I have to stay it was the best Caribbean Food I have had in quite sometime. Quaint little hidden GEM off of Sumner ave in Springfield. Curry Chicken and Rice and peas were amazing. Curry Shrimp is made to order, fresh, extremely well seasoned and tasted out of this planet. Tried the Cream Cheese pound cake.... holy

The absolute best ox tail in the area!!Edit: been coming here multiple times a week for a few months l now and I have no idea why the place isnt jammed packed everytime. The food is amazing and perfectly cooked. You can taste the love in everything she makes, from the tender, flavorful big chunks of oxtail, to the slow cooked stew chicken. Everything she makes is amazing! And if you are there when she makes her homemade desserts you'll love those too!!
