Tim was a pleasure to work with and was really open to our brunch themed menu, tailoring it perfectly to what we imagined being able to offer our guests after our big day! Our guests loved being able to have the food truck available to order from right on the spot! Can't recommend enough!

I was in town for work and I was craving BBQ. Luckily this was one of the top suggestions along the route I needed to take.Very happy I stopped and I was lucky enough to even try one of the owners custom wing flavors.The pulled pork sandwhich with slaw on it was delicious and definitely recommended.One of the better BBQ places I've tried from around the country. You won't go wrong stopping by to have a bite!
Finally got the chance to try this after being on my radar for quite some time. Had the pulled pork sandwich at the Swansea farmer's market and it was delicious. So I tried out the ribs later that week and they were amazing. They were tender and flavorful. I'm no bbq expert but it's definitely WAY better than any I have had around here. While the meats are tasty, the sides are also very good so make sure you grab some sides to go with your bbq.

Don't miss Big Daddy Kings - BDK is just about the best thing happening in Swansea. Even from your first visit you'll get to know the owner Tim, and you'll quickly realize how much love he brings to work every day both for his food and his customers. BDQ is hearty, fast, affordable no-frills BBQ. All of the regular menu items are great, I usually get the smoked hot Italian sausage sandwich or a smoked chicken sandwich with slaw, make sure to get a douse of his bourbon bbq sauce and some jalapeño cornbread with that. But the specials Tim cranks out weekly are really my favorites - I'm still having withdrawals from his Moroccan chicken salad sandwich and the smoked Turkey with Portuguese stuffing. And make sure to add an order of his wings on Wednesdays - really good smoke paired with big flavor from his homemade sauces. Follow their Facebook to keep track the schedule and specials, but after a while your body will tell you when BDK is open.

I've been working down the street for almost 5 years and kept going to the same places for lunch. I am extremely happy I came across this BBQ joint and glad I tried it. I ordered a half rack of ribs that happened to be one of the specials with a side of homemade Mac n cheese. ? It was amazing and I got everyone at work jealous. I'll be a regular for sure !! I can't wait to try the pulled pork and chicken!!
