Sommerfest and Oktoberfest have grown to be FANTASTIC over the many years I've been attending. Many vendors, shorter lines, plenty of port-o-potties. The band that play are always excellent. Very good food and beer selection, and Swissbakers pretzels. Burger stand for the kids. Always excellent pastries sold by BSV. Potato pancake line is shorter by far than it used to be. What an awesome day. We had an early October Fest Saturday, last. All kinds of German food. Not like Mom's cooking, but after a few Jaggamiester shots. It really didn't matter. Live music. Mostly German beer ? drinking music. I guess a little bit more pop music ? for the next generation. LOLI haven't been to a German club since the haufbrauhouse in Plainview, MA. Had a great time at BSV. My family and friends went to the Oktoberfest celebration and I can't tell you how much fun we had. Good food and beverages as well as good people. I highly recommend everyone to check this place out!!
