We celebrated our daughters 21 birthday at the Bistro today - everything was great! Its a warm friendly place, the food was awesome and our waitress Raven rocked! We were a party of 9 and everyone pitched in. We didn’t need to ask for anything - they were right there the entire time, happy to help, refill or whatever without being on top of you.We highly recommend!

MEH. Wanted to love this place based on the reviews but our experience fell seriously short. They seemed to be incredibly short staffed, which is understandable with the current state of everything today. Working in the industry, it seems like common sense if you do not have enough servers to serve tables why the hell are hostess seating people back to back? Its uncomfortable to watch as waitresses scramble around like chickens with their heads cut off. We dined on a Saturday afternoon after the brunch rush. The place was packed when we arrived and we had our four month old son with us in a stroller. We sat in a high top near the bar and waited about 10 minutes to be greeted when we watched the hostesses continuing to keep seating people walking in, four tables were seated and we hadn't been greeted yet. Our waitress was friendly but extremely overwhelmed and a bit frantic. We also overheard the manager saying that someone threw up at one of the tables outside and she needed to get a water bucket to wipe it down stat. Yum, good frantic vibes. The food was decent. I got the veggie burger which was served on an odd plate for a entrée meal. It was a balancing act to eat over the small rectangular plate. My hubby got the steak tacos and it's not listed anywhere that these are literally bite sized with no side. We were both shocked when they came out...he said the flavor was really good but for the price and presentation we were a little taken back. Nothing blew us away here, it is a bistro so maybe we were just expecting too much - seems like a great place for after work drinks and apps but we aren't dying to come back based on our first experience.

Spacious Black-owned restaurant. Romantic low-light atmosphere. Delicious flavorful food. Steak & Cheese egg rolls were generously stuffed with shaved steak and just the right amount cheese and a dipping sauce that takes a simple roll to another level! Steak cut bacon was tasty with a sweet glaze, topped jalapeños are just for presentation as it wasn't spicy but if want that kind of kick, go ahead and cut into the peppers. Salmon cooked perfectly with a crispy skin, as requested. Creative innovative cocktails!Parking: Parking in rear of building

I was excited to try this highly recommended restaurant. We had a 6:30 reservation for a Saturday night. Made it on the early side hoping for a leisurely meal. This wasn’t the case. As soon as we were handed menus our waitress told us we had to decide on meals right away because she anticipated the kitchen getting backed up. We did as requested but our meals were out within 10 minutes. By the time we paid our bill, we were only there 40 minutes. Felt more like a diner service certainly not at diner prices! I got the steak frite which was underwhelming. I couldn’t taste ant chimichurri sauce and the fries were integrated with the salad. Steak was cooked perfectly though. My partner had chicken fettuccine. Portion was small but sauce was delicious. With all the restaurant options in the area, next time I’d try something else

The Bistro catered wonderfully to our engagement party dinner for our reservation of 15 people. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was delicious! We will definitely recommend the restaurant to our friends.Food: 5/5

met another couple here for dinner tonite; random choice by them. None of us had been here before. Terrific. Seated immediately. Wait staff was just about perfect. Just when you were wondering where they were, they'd show up. Not too long, not too quickly. Never felt rushed but never felt ignored. Good craft beer list. Not enormous, but a good sxelection and who can drink more than 8 beers anyway? Food. Well. We had steak bomb spring rolls for an appetizer. Superb. Two of us had the wedge. This was a cut above most wedges I've had, and most of them have been terrific. This was outstanding. One had the steak frites. She was very happy. My wife had fish tacos; she thought they were great. I had the skillet paella. Let me tell you, there was just not enough of this. Could have eaten it with a bricklayers trowel it was so good... Against my better judgement, I had the key lime cheesecake. Don't know why I eat dessert; never makes me feel perky, but this was excellent. OK, the coffee (Decaf) was just so-so. Two lagunitas IPA's were perfect. Fabrizio, our waiter, was all that. Unfortunately, our friends picked up our tab, so we don't know how much he got tipped, but I can tell you he was happy and he deserved every cent of it. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Huge menu, so many delicious dishes to choose from! I got the chicken and waffle eggs Benedict and it was so good! I also tried my sisters steak and cheese egg rolls and can recommend them along with the red sangria and espresso martini! Great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating and excellent service! My mom and aunt got the burger and the loved it! Definitely check this place out!

Always a delicious meal. Not overpriced. Friendly service. We there on a regular basis. My fave is the warm Buddha bowl.

Great atmosphere! We had planned to sit at the outside tables but upon going inside to see hostess, we appreciate the AC and great music vibe on that very hot day. Many healthy menu choices including vegan were offered! We had the chicken pesto sandwich, the Buddha bowl and the short rib melt and all were delicious! The hostess and our server, the bartender were friendly and very attentive! We can't wait to go back!

Last minute reservation on a Friday night with some friends and were greeted with an ambient vibe within with multiple TV screens displaying sports events throughout. Waitstaff were friendly and checked up on us frequently (which was not a bad thing at all) as it exhibited their attentiveness. Although the pictures may not do the dishes justice, I'd say each were pretty good to very good in terms of flavor and execution. The tiny clams had an awesome cognac lobster cream sauce that necessitated more bread to sop up the juicy goodness and trust me, you will want to order more bread! For the entrées, the pasta bolognese was pretty decadent in its flavor and al dente-ness - we thought it was a balanced dish for the pasta, meats and sauce. The braised short ribs split apart with minimal to no effort when pressed against and dividing into a bite-size forkful and was even better when the tasting and chewing started - so flavorful. The duck breast and confit leg were cooked to juicy tenderness - executed very well. Price points were standard with such sizable portions - menu was solid. Would return anytime!

We came here for dinner on a decently busy nice. We parked in a paid parking lot that is relatively cheap. For 12 hours, the meter said it was only a few bucks. For us, it was free since it was after 6pm. There is outside and inside seating. There are high top booth tables and then regular low top tables. Our service was good and food was decent as well. If you're going to get an appetizer, I highly recommend their sheet pan nachos with steak. The steak was super tender and the aioli on top complimented the flavors really well. We both ordered the Carlson orchard hard cider they had on draft. It was relatively light and not too sweet. Our child had the kids pasta with Alfredo sauce. It was a big portion and the flavor was so good. She ate some, but also was stuffing her face with nachos. She loved both. For my entree, I had the Braised Short Ribs. It comes with Brussel sprouts, mushroom/ricotta gnocchi, and lots of mushrooms in the sauce. The short ribs on the top stole the show of my plate. It was very tender and just melted off. The gnocchi had really good flavor, but I prefer my gnocchi a little more firm. My boyfriend had the Short Rib Tacos. He loved the flavor and ate every bite. The tacos only come with two tacos only. If you're hungry and want the tacos, be sure you have an appetizer because you will still be hungry otherwise. Overall, we had a good experience. Our biggest recommendation is the sheet pan nachos for an appetizer. Thanks for a good night!

Delicious meals, fast friendly service on a Wednesday evening. Dined outside with regular plates and flatware but plasticware for all beverages. I requested and received a Brussel sprouts in lieu of zucchini in my pasta Primavera. Salad menu is very limited -iceberg lettuce - but many choices for proteins. Reasonably priced for Waltham.

My brother was in town from LA so we decided to go grab some dinner. Not only was the food delicious but they also have a vegan menu which was great!! For 4 adults and 2 kids the price wasn't bad either!
