So after giving bistro numerous chances to redeem themselves with their take out, after tonight I regret to announce I am done ordering from bistro 781. I ordered two cheese pizzas, when I showed up to pay, there was only one box of pizza, so I said, OK I’ll just take one, the receipt said margarita, after ordering two cheese pizzas i immediately confirmed the order to the front desk, which the employee said, it’s not a margarita, it’s cheese, just a typo. I left with my order then proceeded to my car and opened up the box to see it was a margarita pizza. I proceeded back into bistro and made it clear. It was a Margherita pizza. Then the manager came out and said give me five minutes and I will make you your two cheese pizza. After 15 minutes waiting patiently my pizzas arrived. I went home, opened up the boxes. One box was to my standards and the other box looked like it was thrown together with no care in the world. It looked undercooked, and the cheese looked like it was three days old. I’m not one to write reviews about restaurants but after this experience, I couldn’t help myself, BISTRO 781 has let me down too many times. My advice to whoever orders pizzas from bistro 781. Be sure to check your pizzas after pick up.

Poor quality food. Starters were OK but not to the mark. Entrees were pathetic. Among the group most others gave a big thumbs down. My order was chicken pesto sandwich which turned out to be causing hurt burns later in the day. My best guess would be rancid/ smelly pesto sauce. Disappointing and useless for the price you

Once again, my fave in Waltham did not disappoint. Had Dinner on Saturday with my wife and two friends. Made early reservations but the place was packed with Head of the Charles people. I held low hopes as with that amount of people, things usually get screwed up. They did not! Everything came out on point PERFECT! My wife loves tapas style dining, so we shared Tuna Tacos, Short Rib Tacos, Crab Cakes, and Tuna Poke. Everything was amazing. There was a great vibe in the room, and we had an awesome table up front. Our waitress was fantastic, the drinks were great, and we had a great time. Thank you once again for a fantastic evening!!! May be back tonight :)Dietary restrictions: If you have 4 people, all with different tastes or diets, Bistro 781 can accommodate. Largest Vegan / Vegetarian / Gluten Fee menu around, along with a great carnivore menu for us meat eaters :)

Our party of 14 family & friends made reservations ahead of time since this was one of the few places that could accommodate our group on a busy college weekend. We all enjoyed our delicious dinners and cocktails. Service was also prompt and very good.
Went for brunch. Decent place but loud! I guess that typical for brunch due to lots of families. Good food & drinks. Service & price was good too. I’d go again.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian/vegan menu available.Parking: Municipal pay lots nearby. Free parking on Sunday.
Bistro 781 is one of the best places I have ever visited! All of the food was delicious. The gluten-free options were endless and tasted amazing. The drinks were fresh and delicious. Even the mocktails were loved by my little one. I would definitely return if in the area.
