Oh God, the food is so good. They make the dish that I would say, after weeks of evaluation, is the best thing I have ever eaten. The food is 100% a reason to visit, but it checks all the boxes for me. Staff is warm, regulars are nice and chill, it's open and bright, they do events, good cocktails, and plenty of TVs. If it had a pool table I'd ask to move in or possibly propose marriage to the chef.

Went for a weekend lunch. Got a table easily. Service was a little bit slow, my order got messed up. But they were very nice and fixed it. The food was good. Of what we got I think that the burger was the best

This is my go-to in Waltham for food and drinks. Delicious smashed burgers, wings and steak tips. Also amazing fries! The bartenders are always lovely and make great drinks.

Delicious simple American food that really hit the spot. I highly recommend the blues and blue burger!

Finally pulled in off Main after driving by this place for years. Elated I did. Perfect medium -light battering on fish ‘n’ chips; fresh cut fries with just the right amount of retained skin. Even the coleslaw was outstanding. Service was great although I was here on a Saturday afternoon so can’t speak to super busy times. They don’t open until 4 PM on weekdays FYI. They say it’s primarily a restaurant, but it feels a little bit more like a mini sports bar.

Finally pulled in off Mane after driving by for over two years. Elated. I did; fantastic fish 'n' chips, lightly battered; outstanding french fries: fresh cut w just the right amount of retained skin. Even in the coleslaw, which can suck, was excellent. Will be back to try the hamburgers they're known for. I was here on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy so can't speak to service other than my experience was great. They are not open weekdays until 4 PM.

Is it a bar? A restaurant? A "restrobar"? Is that even a thing? Nah, Joe's is clearly and unashamedly a neighborhood joint. A welcoming, casual spot where I imagine locals go as part of their weekly routine. Really good burgers, a solid fish and chips, and a slight twist on fried pickles (spears, rather than slices). My only mild critique is that the beer list is awash in IPAs, and a little style variety goes a long ways, por favor.

Went twice. Waited an hour for my food the first time. After an hour the second time, I cancelled my order. I understand the kitchen is small, but they need a fix for that.

Came in for trivia night at 7 (an hour early) and waited an hour just to have multiple groups of people that came in after get seated before us. I confronted the owner and he told us we “could have taken the seats” after telling us to wait multiple times. We never got a seat.

Hidden Jem. I couldn’t recommend this little spot more ? tastiest burger you can find with a good drink and a chill atmosphere.
