Ordered the volcano roll, seafood avocado salad and a couple other rolls. Fast service, fresh food and clean restaurant, will be back!

Hot Bibimbam is the best thing on a cold day ! Plenty of vegetarian options available!

Each experience we've had here has been wonderful. The flavors are perfectly balanced and the quality of the ingredients is high. The staff are friendly, and we especially love that the owner always remembers us and offers us extra kimchi because she knows how much we love it. Wide ranging menu that offers great options for all, including our kids.

The food was ok, but it took 30 minutes to arrive. Sushi was 5 pieces for 18 dollars. Get your own conclusions. We left hungry and had a sandwich elsewhere.

Always a pleasant experience at Ponzu! The food is excellent, the space is clean and inviting, but, above all, the staff are phenomenal. Every individual working at Ponzu goes out of their way to make their customers feel welcome. They’re just uniformly friendly while giving plenty of space to enjoy the meal. Highly recommended.

Food was fantastic. Service was a little slow but it seemed like a busy night.

Fantastic sushi specials, helpful staff, and reasonable prices. Met a friend here on his idea, and was very happy at his selection. They even omitted a fish I don't like from my special. The interior is beautiful and not overwhelming. I'll definitely come back.

Floored by the food, came in for lunch on a weekday. Had dolsot bimbimbap and friend had chicken teriyaki lunch, excellent. Attentive service, lovely sushi bar.

Would not recommend Ponzu. The appetizers really varied in quality, from an extremely small, bland portion of calamari, to a delicious Hotate Hokkaiyaki (the star of the entire meal). Not pictured is sashimi, which is the worst I have ever tasted. It was warm, the salmon was falling apart, and both dinner guests felt sick afterward. The maki is average, and generally smothered in sauces. Although the food came out quickly, and waitstaff was courteous, it is not enough to make it worth your while.

Amazing food, good sake selection, and the owner chatted with us and was extremely friendly. Everything came out pretty quick even when we put multiple orders in.We mostly had sushi and everything was very fresh and presented beautifully. They also had specials based on dish that had come in just the day before, in particularthe toro which was outstanding. The price wasn't too bad either. This will definitely be my go-to sushi spot in Waltham!

This is my favorite restaurant in Waltham to get sushi. I love their location as they are located on Moody Street which is often closed for driving traffic during the summer which allows you to walk the strip and have a nice dinner. They are also close to the larger public parking area which allows for easier access if you don't want to walk far.The food is excellent. My go-to is the bibimbap with crispy rice in a stone bowl, and any of their specialty sushi's with unagi. Their prices are reasonable and their portion size is good. The staff are always friendly and accommodating. I'd rate them just short of five stars for the atmosphere. Well, while the place is clean and well kept It is a little cramped and modern which I think leaves it a little disoriented and somewhere in between cozy hole-in-the-wall and modern hot spot.Vegetarian options: They have many dishes with lots of veggies and tofu is vertically always an option.Parking: Large public lot just around the corner.
