Chill environment, we went for dinner and left when they closed. Great spot to hang with friends. I do wish there are more parking spots available, street parking was packed and the back parking lot had small spots. Besides an order was was a mistake, everything else was good. Food was delicious. Lots to choose from on the menu. If I had the chance, I'd definitely come back again! Complimentary chips and salsa is a plus too!

Check your bill before paying because they add 18% tip in orders TO-GO or dine-in. Food is good and their sangria is my favorite drink. The kids love the place to eat tacos and nachos.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Waltham! It has an extensive selection of various Mexican dishes. My personal (low-carb) favorites are the chicken fajitas and the chiles rellenos with picadillo. The chiles rellenos are exceptionally flavorful. The service could be a tiny bit more attentive, but it doesn't take away from the experience. I'm a big fan of the interior decor as a hole-in-the-wall Mexican joint I'm used to coming from Arizona. Definitely recommend!

The food is atrocious I was told I’d be served beef not pork! I will be calling the health department on this place.

Food was delicious! Service, not very good. Waitresses were in the back talking. We had to stand up and asked to be served. Not once did they come back to check on us, until it was time to pay. There were only three tables, not like the place was packed and they were super busy. Other than that, food was good.

If you want reasonably priced, good and authentic Mexican food in Waltham, this is the place. I had the burrito combo which came with a burrito, enchilada, rice and salad for only $12.50. My friend had the quesadillas. Both of our dishes came out lightning fast. The decor was your typical Mexican restaurant decor sombreros, soccer games playing etc. Service was good and attentive, but a tad slow. This place is probably the best bang for your buck in the area, as I've tried most Mexican sit-down joints in Waltham.

I absolutely loved going to this place in college. The menu is pretty hit or miss though. I’d recommend the plates over the tacos/nachos/burritos. The chilaquiles are fire. Decent Sangria too.Very casual Mexican vibes.

Aight, listen up New Englanders — most of you wouldn’t know good Mexican food if it hit you in the face (if someone suggests Lone Star Taco to me one more time I swear to god ?).But as someone who has lived in Texas and New Mexico for most of his life, I can assure you that THIS place is probably the best, most authentic and delicious Mexican food spots available in the greater Boston area. The hole-in-the-wall atmosphere is low key, but festive and iconic. The margaritas are HUGE and delicious — especially the Tamarindo one with the tamarind spice rim. There’s chips and salsa on your table practically before you sit down — and that salsa is HOT, just like it should be…none of that fake Boston New American “spicy.” The menu has surprising depth, and is extremely fairly priced for Boston (3 tilapia tacos for $12? That’s a win). And oh man the refried beans and rice are stunning — exactly like my abuelita used to make.Boston isn’t renowned for its Mexican food, and good spots practically don’t exist — but this place. This place gave me a taste of home just when I thought I couldn’t get it in this city. If you’re dying for a taste of the Southwest in this coastal city, this is the place to go.Parking: There’s limited street parking out front.

I LOVE Taqueria Mexico. I've been going there for years. Good, reasonably priced authentic Mex. Nice folks and friendly service. Plus, there's (limited) outdoor dining when the weather permits. An easy 5 (five) stars!

The food was amazing and the service was fast and our server was a nice guy. It was a nice little Mexican restaurant.

It was fine, but honestly it was a bit overpriced. Also, try to avoid fighting the rats out back. They fight dirty.

Place was great! As authentic it can get! This will be my go to Mexican in Waltham! Oh and their margaritas are enormous and tasty!

Tasty and fresh food, got birria tacos and 2 tacos (al pastor and carne asada), and a horchata. My drink was delicious, sweet and light and refreshing, birria tacos were slightly less crisp than my usual preference but the flavor was great and the broth was very warming. Surprisingly, the simple onion and cilantro meat tacos really hit the spot for me, especially the carne asada, fresh meat on soft tortillas, delicious, paired with their homemade hot sauces, I will be back when I'm in Waltham.

Shout out to Google Maps for taking me on a route by your restaurant on my way to drop my wife off the orthodontist. I had a great time. It was what I look for in a taqueria. You're not afraid of spice. The rice wasn't dry. The beens weren't bland. The meat in my tocos had good and spicy. I look forward to visiting friends or family again.
