Dinner was another great meal at Vinotta: The Carbonara Is phenomenal. Carol, the hostess, is very nice. I had to laugh as She came up on me as at the bar and startled me as I was playing a game on my iPhone, and I jumped out of my skin. We both had a good laugh. Donât forget go to get the Spumoni Bomba for dessert!
Awesome dining experience. Food was exceptional. Service was outstanding and meeting the owners was the best. Thank you Carol and Dante.
This was our second trip to Vinotta in the past six weeks. It was so good the first time that we wanted to bring our entire family the second time. And it absolutely did not disappoint. The ambiance of the interior is charming and warm (literally, as we sat near the kitchen). Service at the bar was friendly and fast, and our cocktails were well executed. Once seated, our server made great recommendations, served wine promptly and with appreciable skill, and treated us warmly throughout the evening. The food was exceptional. Every dish ordered by our table was perfect. Weâve been fortunate to eat in many great Italian restaurants throughout the world, and this remains one of our favorites. I canât wait to return.
Great menu! Second time and Will go again
Great menu Great waitress Rebecca Bar area very friendly
Meal and service were decent...but would come here again to try other dishes. My friend and I were craving pasta so we decided to go here. We ended up being seated outside because it was so busy. We first started off with the Beef Tenderloin Carpaccio. This was pretty good and super high quality, but I don't think I would get it again for the price we paid (about $20 for 7 slices and a small salad). I ended up getting Gnocchi Alla Pecorara and my friend got the Homemade Caserecce Carbonara. I tried both dishes and I actually liked the Carbonara more than the Gnocchi. They both came out really hot but for both dishes, the pasta was a bit overcooked. It would've been nice if the pasta was al dente. The carbonara sauce was a little on the underseasoned end, but it was ok. As for the Gnocchi, the tomato-basil sauce was 99% tomato and 1% basil. I didn't really taste the basil in the sauce (except for when I ate the single basil leaf that was used for garnishing). The service also was mediocre, we spent a long time waiting for our waiter to come out and check up on us so we could get the bill. Once we asked for the bill, it took some time for us to actually receive the bill to pay. Additionally, we were only given two pieces of bread and never asked if we wanted more. The food did come out rather quickly, I will say that I think the chef brought it out, which was very nice. I think I would come here again to try their seafood dishes, but probably wouldn't get the same things again.
Delicious and beautifully presented dinner. Gracious server and comfortable environment. Will come back here again.
Delicious authentic Italian food. Indoor and outdoor seating available and parking in nearby municipal lots. Great spot for an intimate date night or celebratory dinner. The wine list is extensive and meals are pricy but the flavor and quality are worth it!Parking: Street parking or pay to park municipal lots a short walk away
Excellent lobster ravioli and swordfish special tonight. Extremely attentive staff. Very nice atmosphere. Highly-rated dinner.
The food was good. The service was not something to brag about. We dined outside, however although it's the end of September no heaters were in place. Almost froze to death.
Vinotta is an exceptional restaurant! Beautiful elegant ambiance in a cozy space .. very personable staff .. i was so impressed that they have organic chicken on their menu !! Vinotta is definitely one of my top choices from now on â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸
A very nice dining experience ð
The food was great, wine was great. The ambiance is really lovely - the decor is plush and fun. The service was ok. Mostly, I was put off by the host. We made a reservation for our 9 year wedding anniversary and I put that information in the reservation. When we arrived, I gave our name and the host said all the tables were reserved, so he could seat us at a high top...well...we made a reservation so why would we have to sit at the bar? I spoke up (politely) and he took us to a table next to the bread stand. We had backwaiters talking, folding napkins, and making bread baskets over our table nearly the whole dinner. On our wedding anniversary. I just think that was mishandled. If you specify you are celebrating something special, the restaurant should try to make the night memorable in a positive way. The server was kind, but could have been a bit more attentive. We waited a while to get drinks and there were crumbs all over the table the entire time. My wine glass was taken before I finished. Things like that. I was a server for YEARS, so I know the appropriate steps of service and what a dining experience should look like - especially when guests are celebrating. It just could have been better.
The food was absolutely amazing! Very flavorful, great service, and sophisticated ambience. We will be going there often!
