A Forge Village secret! French toast with REAL maple syrup. Bacon and sausage cooked to perfection. Homemafe chocolate milk. Service person was friendly and welcoming. Funky and eclectic decor and old local photos.

The waitress and owner we're very welcoming and have witty personalities. The experience has left me wanting to come back for the atmosphere the place but the food is the BOMB. The owner takes his craft seriously and does a phenomenal job delivering just that. If your looking for a cozy, little nook for you and your partner I would recommend this diner to be your next stop. Thank you for your hospitality.

Dietary restrictions: Dairy options if your lactose intolerant

Parking: You can park any where near the diner or near the local store.

Kid-friendliness: There's enough room for a family of four but not enough for a family of six because you never know how busy it's going to get.

First of all, the owner of this historic business is the nicest person you would ever meet. He makes a great cup of coffee. He notices that I had my dog with me each time I dined with him this week, and he gave me a sausage for my Sealyham terrier as a treat to take home. This is a warm, friendly store to start the day off on the right foot. Plenty of convenient parking.

Decent enough breakfast but not quite to the level of his motto.

The Village Store is a sweet neighborhood joint with good coffee and a full breakfast menu weekends; slightly more limited selections Tuesday-Wednesday. The muffins look good, but I always get the eggs. The cook owner has restored the space to its historical vibe as an everyone-knows-your-name kind of spot. It’s great to have a breakfast place nearby , and while I haven’t tried to lunches, it’s a budget-friendly spot in an increasingly expensive world.Fun fact: You can get 2 grilled hotdogs of $5 and bring your kids for a $3 peanut butter and fluff sandwich-which tells you the owner is a local who understands Massachusetts history and our proud invention of that sticky treat.I appreciate all the nods to the history or Forge Village and I’m glad this local color spot is up and running.

Kid-friendliness: Excellent! See review!

Best breakfast sandwich I’ve had in ages! Less expensive & fresher than Dunks. Staff are super friendly & helpful, service is exemplary. Give them a try and help out our Main Streets! You won’t regret it. I hope Beaver’s Place is around for a long time, just wish they were open 24 hours. Peace be with you!

Parking: Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!Support local!✌️

Tried this place for the first time this weekend. We had the BLT and one of the specialty egg sandwiches. The food was great, the prices were right and the staff was incredibly friendly. The dining area is bigger than it appears from the outside and they have some nice counter seats as well. Will definitely be returning!

Terrible, hours are completely inaccurate. Attempted to go multiple times, following posted schedule and even called to confirm hours more than once. Arrived during posted hours of operation and consistently found it closed upon arrival. I enjoy supporting local small businesses, but not when they don't respect customers' time and effort. I do not recommend wasting your time trying to catch this business open when it decides at it's whim to operate.
