had some friends visiting from boston and decided we'd all try out this restaurant. we were greeted by a woman with a thick accent, but she seemed nice. the setup of the restaurant is quite strange, and it's hard to find parking on the same street. there were only 2 waitresses on, and everything was brought to us in waves. looking at the menu, they have quite a bit of options, we all just happened to choose the wrong ones. i tried to order the chunky mainly pancakes (banana chocolate chip & walnut) and expressed that i have a walnut allergy and would just like them cooked without the nuts, and our server told me to pick something else. i know she was trying to be nice and explain that i'd still have to pay full price even without the nuts, but the way she was leaning over me and simply telling me to just "get something else" seemed quite uncomfortable, and not something a waitress should say. (i'm a waitress myself) my food was brought out 10 minutes after my friends. (one had eggs and home fries , the other had a waffle) food was eh. didn't look like it did in the pictures. my pancakes were overcooked, my friends home fries had no seasoning at all, and my friends waffle had soggy strawberries on it and they didn't even have whipped cream to put on it. the only reason i'm giving this one star is because the waitress saved me an extra dollar on the pancakes. won't be returning :/

I love me some ethnic and African foods. We checked this place out after church on Sunday. It's a small place with a very small lot behind the restaurant. As soon as we walked in we were greeted. It's not a fancy place. They sale beautiful pieces of art that is hung all over the place. The older gentleman who greeted us, welcomed us and made some suggestions as we asked him a few questions.

Went for breakfast...Amazing food, huge portions and a lovely little Irish speaking waitress who couldn't have been more adorable!

top would have made the aroma fill the dining room! This huge omelette was also accompanied by home fries as well, that were well-seasoned, but very UNDER Done from the well-done potatoes I ordered. But they tasted good st least even if I was missing my crunch.

The waitress followed me and my friends out of the building to tell us that we didn’t leave a good enough tip. The reason we didn’t was because she was a horrible server

also got the Roma omelette: "pesto" tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, Italian toast. The toast was somehow stale? Or just too thin BC it was pretty hard, and also just coated in too much butter. Not the end of the world since I was sharing and got to enjoy the French toast and we were too full to eat all anyway! (Needed a box!) the omelette itself was well-made, FILLLLED with lots of tomatoes

Weekend breakfast stop with the whole family. There is an extensive menu with some creative twists on standard breakfast fare. We couldn't resist two of the specials,: "New Orleans breakfast" with eggs over Cajun beef hash and Banana Foster French toast were both superb.

Recently went here for breakfast, the food was fairly decent. Mostly your basic diner food. Our waitress was alright. Didn't check on the table, or ask us how the food was. However, what made me rate this higher was the hostess. I think her name was Olivia, she was so friendly, professional and made me feel right at home. She was the one who actually walked by and asked us if everything was alright. They should make her be the waitress instead of handing menus out, leave that for the unmotivated waitresses who just stand there anyways.
