Very pleased with our lunch experience from the door to the table. Friendly and personable staff serving flavorful Mexican-inspired fusions. I am partial to their breakfast dishes like the chorizo hash and eggs. Apart from the more standard fare you would expect from a Central-American-themed restaurant staffed with mostly not Central-American people, there is a very safe kid's menu for your little picky eaters.Decent value; food is fresh and portions are either enough for a big meal or enough to bring a snack home as leftovers.Conveniently located on the 1st floor of a parking garage, Mezcal is also located within walking distance to major venues like Mechanics Hall and the DCU Center. Their food is always delicious, especially their guacamole. We love trying a few with a flight. Service is always great and we also love that there is a parking garage, so we don't have to drive around to find a spot. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because of their drinks. In our opinion, they're really watered down and not worth the money. Save your calories for the tacos!

Been here a dozen times at this point and I can't resist the margs, but I always find myself rushing home to accommodate the inevitable torrent of bowel movements that ensues. Otherwise, would totally recommend. ?
Please explain why you would be closed on a Sunday for a staff event when you have a huge event at DCU all weekend. Have the staff event when there are no events at DCU. It's just business 101. When you have customers you open.

I have never had a bad time here. The food is consistently delicious. Sure, the flan could use a little work. But everything's lovely. I love their selection of tequila. They have some of the stuff that's actually good enough to have on the rocks. Not just shelf booze. I have also always had a good time. Whether it be with the company with whom I came or people I've met if I was eating at the bar. When you go, it can be a little loud and busy. But most of my visits it's been Like any other place regarding noise level. As I've said before and will say again, the Niche Hospitality Group can do no wrong, in my eyes. Great ownership, great leadership, great culinary execution, and wonderful employees.
