We stopped in for a quick bite to eat before we set-up our Camper Photo Booth at NPC for an event. Very nice atmosphere! Super clean!We placed our order with a man (owner maybe) - he was so friendly and nice! We ordered their specialty burger fries and gravy and the smaller burger with onion rings! They both were very good!He came by our table and talked with us for a bit. We were so surprised when we received a free coffee and piece of cake. Apparently one of the staff was retiring and they had a party. What an amazing thing to do -Definitely would recommend anyone going by to stop in! They also had a little outdoor area you could eat at.
Parking: Large lot to park in- we stopped there because of how large it was- we had our SVU and camper and many places in Winkler did not have a lot of room in their parking lots.

One of our favorite restaurants to eat at. The best Pizza!
Last night in Winkler so off to another local restaurant to see what was being offered. I was craving BBQ and noticed DJ's had ribs so drove over to get an order for take out. I was greeted in a friendly matter who helped me make a decision, which was ribs, chicken and fries with a side of coleslaw and bun. Was told it would take about 15-20 mins. So I sat and watched. No one else was in the restaurant until about 10 mins later when a family came in and you could tell it was their first time. They sat at a table where there were menus (which tells me someone would come to the table). Nope, you go up and order your food. The person they had was not very friendly, did not even smile and I thought how unnerving that would be to get that kind of service on my first time there. I watched the kitchen staff and noticed someone was being trained. As they were packing for a take out order (not mine) I saw that he grabbed the bun with this hand, passed it to the person training him and she put in the box. So 2 hands touching a bun before someone eats it. The bowl to grab the fries was the same bowl they used for onion rings and other things, never once was it cleaned. After waiting about 25 mins, my order was good to go. I didn't eat the bun but really did like their chicken. It was crispy and had a nice flavour. The ribs were pretty good but the sauce was not my favorite. I can't quite describe it but it had a tangy taste, not a bold BBQ taste. The portions were good though.

DJ’s is an all time favourite of ours. We decided to book them to cater our wedding and we have absolutely no regrets! The food was unbelievable (as always). They got everything out in a timely matter and it looked very presentable. We got tons of compliments from many wedding guests who said it was excellent! Helen and Lyle were also very kind and accommodating. Thank you DJ’s!!
