I definitely would recommend Azalea, they have great service and their food is delicious!

Bad customer service. I ordered from UberEats and the person I spoked it was rude. Food was cold. Honey garlic chicken doesn't even look like chicken it's more like skin.

The Yangzhou fried rice cooked with sauce, spicy, is my regular order and it’s great quantity and taste wise, and the price point is very affordable.

We've ordered through SkipTheDishes multiple times and the results are always the same, so we know this business quite well. They use INSTANT RAMEN NOODLES (yes the ones you get for ~50¢ a pack) for their "lo mein" , "chow mein", and "vermicelli" dishes, and they don't even seem fresh for instant ramen noodles. It is a gooey flavourless mess with some veg mixed in. This is literally not lo mein noodles, how can they call it lo mein? This is false advertising, deceptive business practice, and borderline theft. $8.95 for a $1 at best meal. The only redeeming qualities are that our 6-year-old likes the gooey veggie ramen/"lo mein", I like the fried rice, and my wife likes their beef & broccoli dish.

Mixed review. The stir fried vegetables were delicious, although 90% broccoli and a couple of carrots only. The hot honey lemon chicken was tasty, but the kung pao chicken was awful. It was oily and the chicken was mushy in texture, not appealing. Also, there was no rice included. Maybe I needed to order it separately?

Ordered chicken chow mein from this place. It was the worst ever chow mein I have ever had. There was hell lot of oil in it, u can’t even eat it without having heart attack.

Very nice and authentic Chinese dishes. Been there twice, and ordered delivery once. I think it is one of the most traditional Chinese restaurants one can find in Winnipeg. This restaurant is underrated for some reason. If you are looking for something catering your western eating habits, it won’t be the best choice for you. just go to somewhere else for your California rolls or Sweet sour chicken. It’s for someone who misses the dishes from their home country.

Calzones taste great, highly recommend.

I don’t know what happened. The Szechuan chicken was all breading no chicken Very vinegary tasting hard to eat. Black bean beef was sooo salty. I can’t eat this what a waste.

It was an impulse. In these pandemic times, we wondered where we could get Chinese food, and enjoy in the restaurant, rather than being limited to take-out, or delivery? Well Azalea's name came up; I phoned, and they welcome vaccinated patrons for indoor dining. So we went, and loved it. Fresh, perfectly prepared food, in generous proportions. Although most of the signage and the placemats were in Chinese, the person who served us spoke fluent English, and was extremely helpful. We will likely treat Azalea as our preferred Chinese restaurant from now on. One slight caution: they closed at 7:00 PM on this Thursday evening. Being opposite the University of Winnipeg, perhaps their main traffic consists of students during the day. Perhaps a 7:00 PM closing is temporary, during COVID. Check before coming.

We had good pick up experiences so far. At first we didn’t wanna order due to the bad reviews but it was opened on stat holiday so we gave it a try. I agree with some comments that their food is a bit bland. But it’s not totally tasteless. I prefer food with less salt/sodium. The beef was much better than other Chinese restaurants. It’s not soaked in too much baking soda but still tender. We’ll definitely order more.

Tasteless, no flavor and oily. Would eat here again.

Ordered Szechuan Hot Chicken (Crispy), Kung Po Shrimp and Sweet & Sour Spare Ribs for pickup. Asked to have extra sauce for each dish.So the only explanation I can think of for the SWILL (I do not exaggerate, check the photos) I ended up receiving is that they took care of the "extra sauce" request by diluting it with quite a decent amount of water. Every single dish was a soggy and flavorless mess floating in watery sadness.Never mind the swamp water consistency, all the proteins felt and tasted like they frozen since the ice age and then defrosted in a microwave. On top of that, the rice they served with this was the worst rice I have ever had. Seems like they just got the cheapest rice you can get from Walmart. Certainly did not expect such rice from an Asian restaurant.I have had some negative experiences with ordering out in the past, but this experience set such a low bar, I don't think anything would ever be able to compete.Stay away at all costs unless you like paying for being served swill.
