The fries are big and crispy.I'm writing this review to give props to our server who was awesome and maintained her composure despite a couple people in our large group giving her a hard time and being petty, and they owe her an apology. She was great and professional.

Amazing pickle spears! Not a big fan of pickles by them selves but i guess anything deepfried is delicious (not a diss). Atmosphere was very cool and made me feel like i was a cowboy.

Went to watch the game in the pub. Server was excellent. A little cramped and felt it was a bit expensive. Then again what place isn't nowadays.

Came on here to write a view, and the review posted just 3hr ago got it spot on. Great atmosphere and service. I also ordered the country fried steak, and instantly regret that decision. Did not taste like anything except the black peppers on the breading. Breading was not crispy, just soggy. And dreeeeenched in sauce. They should definitely take that off as a “favourite”, on the menu.Been here once before and got the enchiladas, which was delicious. So I know they have good food. Unfortunately, this was not one of them. Do not order!

Liked the look of the place. Staff was very friendly. Had the onion soup. Very good. Had the country fried steak. Super bland batter was rubbery. Only had a few bites left the rest. The fries and side grave was awesome. Didn’t take it home. Still got charged for the whole meal. Never offered anything at all when I told them it wasn’t good. Very bland. All the waitress said was. Oh that’s unfortunate. Here is your bill. lol. Nicest way I have heard a screw you don’t care just pay your bill.

Well i gotta say as far as the food goes that burger is a perfect 10!! Hands down a must try unfortunatley major points are lost with some rude regulars who were making jokes about the company i was privliged and honored to dine with. Id like to see how they get around being stage 4. The burgers are still a must have though well done big guys!

Found them by accident one night when trying to find nachos at 1am. Not only did they take my order but had it ready before I even got there. Portions were huge and very filling. I also ordered chicken finger dinner and too was very good. Looking forward to trying other items on their menu.
The lounge is a little tight for space, but we won our meal on the VLTs! The staff is nice. We ate in the restaurant side. The food and portions were overall good and did not take too long. My dad said it was the best french onion soup in Winnipeg. He had stuffed mushrooms, and we shared the signature wings. I had a spicy chicken wrap, and it was very filling. Coleslaw was my style, but the guacamole is from a squeeze bag.

Update:Neighborhood pub, restaurant . Enjoy coming here, our last minute go to place. Stopped in for meal the prices have increased again and portions are smaller! I’m all for increases but every couple of month increases! I’m not a fan of especially when both increase and smaller portions together. 19.99 or more for most items on menu now with smaller portions of course.Old review:Food is good, French onion soup, reuben sandwich, stir fry, club sandwich. Chicken fingers, caesar salad all good food just to name a few.Plus they removed some good items from the menu.But for the last 2 years it seems the prices increase constantly. Like from $12.99 to 18.99, From 9.99 to $17.99 now.Will not be coming as often, now. Our bill was $20.00 more than a couple months ago for same order. With these increases its harder to go out for a meal, Extremely pricey for neighborhood restaurant. :(

Tbh, the name always made me wary of dropping by for food. Our regular place couldn't take a last minute reservation so we ended up here. From the time we stepped through the door until we left, the staff were friendly, accommodating and attentive.They let us catch up a bit and checked in without being intrusive. As soon as we were ready to order, they were there. The food arrived in 15 minutes or so which is pretty amazing considering it was dinner time.I was prepared to be underwhelmed by the food but all 6 of us were extremely satisfied with flavour, portion size, freshness and price.I can highly recommend taking a chance on Big Guy's if you have always been like me and just driven by. Pretty sure that you'll end up like me and be a repeat customer.Big Guys - thanks for the hospitality and great service and great food.

I love big guys. The food was amazing and the portions were huge. I had the enchiladas and my girlfriend had the ribs. We probably only finished half of our plate before packing it up. The beers were great and the environment on the lounge side is awesome. I highly recommend this place to anyone hungry!
