It's so tasty! Always good, fresh ingredients and fills an empty stomach in the happiest way! I've been hooked since I first tried it. As it has been said it's not cheap, not outrageous either, but it's quality, fresh and good portions. Highly recommend! Basic dining room but lots of take out and delivery service orders!
What happened??? This place used to be amazing. Great fresh looking food and large portions. Now the prices are even higher, but with a quarter of the meat and other toppings. $30 for 2 burritos that were flat and maybe an inch thick. Also, lighting seemed to be out in the counter, and it was not cleaned well. Owner/manager was working at the counter with longish hair not in a hairnet. Employee who helped me was very friendly though.

Prices have gone up and food quality/portion sizes/service have gone significantly down. We used to love Burrito Splendido, they even catered my wedding rehearsal dinner. Paid >$30 for two burritos that had about 1/4 cup of the protein, an improperly pressed & torn tortilla, both burritos exploded and none of the toppings were evenly distributed. Will absolutely never return to this restaurant.

We've been to all the locations, and I love the food, especially since the owner of the chain uses local products. It was a bit slow, but considering it was right after lunchhour and one of the workers had just left (2 were still working), it was a reasonable wait.

We were travelling back from out of town. My wife was driving and I thought I would make everything easier and put in my online order five minutes before we got to the west Portage Avenue location.I was surprised when my pickup time was in 45 minutes.I should not have been surprised. This is not McDonalds and my order was put into the Doordash queue as they were slammed with online orders.I don’t know what I was thinking, lol.Anyway the staff was great and expedited my order so the family and the dog only waited in the car for 7 or 8 minutes.Thanks, and the burritos were great and as ordered!!!

Ordered from Portage ave location and did not get our complete order. Missing cheese and veggies on all three orders. The soup was only broth. No help from the store when we called. Skip refunded us 100%. Will never order from here again.Edit: one of us ended up with food poisoning.

Was just told that they were “out of rice and refried beans”, how does that happen? Either poor management or neglectful employees.Used to be my favourite place for burritos, unfortunately this location has gone downhill in the past couple years. Staff are nowhere near as friendly and welcoming as they used to be.Disappointed to cross it off my list of go to restaurants in the area.

Good burritos, we’ve ordered them many times over the last few years but unfortunately very inconsistent, one day you’ll order a large and it’ll be fair but the next time even a week later it’s literally 1/2 to 1/4 of the size… and they’re rude when you bring it up to them. I’ll say they’re understaffed the few times I’ve been in during peak times and they’re stressed to the max with a lineup and a steady stream of annoying skip drivers coming in so I don’t blame them for being disgruntled but it’s a rip off when they are tiny… and I mean tiny 30-40% of the time. Could be they are just too busy to go in the back and re stock the items is the reason for being so chintzy. Don’t bother if you’re expecting a filling burrito.
