My first time at this longtime St. Vital staple, and it's a total winner. The menu had everything, the food is top-notch and the service is perfect. The chicken parm is the best I've ever had.

Worst experience I've had in a long time. Went for dinner with my family and the waitress forgot to put in me and my sons order. By the time she fixed her mistake and brought our food out the rest of my family had already finished eating. I spoke to the manager and all he said was well you got your food eventually so I'm not sure what you want me to do, we don't give discounts here. Will never go back. Spent over $130 on food I could have gotten anywhere with better service. Do not go here

Best clubhouse i have ever had. Some people whine and cry about things being forgotten...i guess these poor babies never make a mistake.NEVER have had a bad experience here...ignore the whiners reviews, and try them out. You will not be disappointed.

I'm visiting Winnipeg from California where I go to breakfast a lot. Someone recommended the Jolly Mug, so I decided to try it. It's located in a shopping center and doesn't look like much from the outside. When I entered the restaurant I was immediately greeted by a waitress who was busy with another customer and was told she would be with me in a minute. Once seated I was served promptly. The food was hot, tasty and plentiful. I have been to three different restaurants since I've been here and this is by far my favorite.

The definition of a neighborhood gem! My parents and I needed a restaurant that tastes like a diner version of home cooking and that is exactly what we got. Whatever you get, I recommend the fries as one of your sides! My Dad loved his starter soup.
