North Garden Restaurant

The environment was not welcoming, my wife and I ordered Dim Sum and Hot & Sour Soup. My wife and I waited for about an hour for our food only for the waitress to tell us we just ordered Hot & Sour Soup.

The waitress suggested that we re-order in which we did. The spring rolls were too oily, the rice rolls did not look and taste like rice rolls, the customer service was terrible! The only good food we got was the Hot & Sour Soup and the Cuddle Fish. Furthermore, two customers who arrived after us received their food before us.

Finally, the waitress did not get us chopsticks, I had to walk up to front and get them, she didn't even check to see if everything was alright, and when my wife and I inquire how much longer it would take to receive our food if we re-ordered it , she responded it would be right away. We then had to wait an additional 30-40 minutes.

My wife and I are were still hungry after that disastrous undedible Dim Sum, that we went to a neighbouring restaurant to eat quality Asian food.

Worst food I’ve ever had in my entire life . I used to go to this restaurant back in 2010-2015 and the food was ok back then . However I gave it a shut and tried again after 10 years and I am really disappointed. Price is higher than the other Chinese restaurants in the area and the quality of the food is horrible . The lamb was not fresh at all , the pork was disgusting and it he chicken feet tasted like dirty socks !!

What the heck - a random skip the dishes purchase turned The best ginger beef I’ve Ever had. I’m delighted!

It used to be good. Worst service and communication. I told them to make sure there is no pork and still has pork in it and wanted me to pay for it lol obviously I didn't pay anything.

I live in vancouver and everytime i visit Winipeg. I make sure to visit the restaurant knowing Authentic Chinese foods. Every dishes are so good taste and portions are generous. Highly highly recommended. Better than vancouver Chinese restaurants.

I think they're understaffed. Had to wait 12 minutes for someone to attend to me at the front desk

Awesome place for Chinese food. The portions were big but very affordable. The taste was delicious too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Stir fry dishes were my favourite.

The front lady just acted like a clown. I was waiting for 40 munites and she was just saying 10 munites again and again , I don’t know what she scared off, taking with back of the kitchen

Amazing fried rice

The food is good but service is lousy. We ordered 8 dishes, the wait was very long, and they brought out one dish every 5-10 minutes and forgot 2 dishes. They keep raising their prices and giving smaller portions. And the charge 10 cents for take out containers.

Wonderful food. Great quality. Portions are massive. Will definitely return
