DELIVERY SUCCESS: After two years of ordering not so great food in the south end...I order something from Stellas two weeks ago for pickup by phone and don't expect too much and a server on the other end adds additional hummus for for free. Have always liked Stellas UPDATE '24: DINE IN was exceptional, we ordered the country omelette and mexican breakfast, with a pancake, brownie and a loaf of bread to go...server knows the menu well and remember her from a couple years ago...she's not robotic and appears happy...that's unusual in most places in Wpg.
This is one of our frequent restaurants when visiting Winnipeg. The menu offers a variety of choices and caters to all food likes. The portions are large enough that sharing is worthy of consideration. Service was good but during the lunch rush period l, good food takes time to prepare. I felt that food delivery services were receiving cooking priority over walk-in's but our server assured us, orders are prepared in order of being received in the kitchen. Clean restrooms but parking in the small lot behind is problematic during busy times. All in all a great lunch.Dietary restrictions: Variety of milk options but no sugar free syrups for beverages like London Fog.

if i could give them less i would, always convince myself to come back for the grilled cinnamon buns bc i like them so much but i have probably 7+ horror stories of the worst service ive ever experienced, even for takeout. hopefully this post reminds me not to go back to this terrible place.

They make you wait for 30 minutes and come out and tells u printer is broken and they just started to make the order then.Funny thing is their printer broke 6 times in past 1 month.Lol. I wish they just didn't lie and waste precious delivery driver's time. There is a button to choose longer cooking time but they choose to make the drivers suffer.

We were in Wpg at a Dr appt and went to Stella's for breakfast as we don't have one in Steinbach. Restaurant at 9 30 am not busy, but the service was terrible. Start off what would you like to drink : coffee and water please. No water was provided for us, ordered omlette and toast lightly buttered, toast came butter X3, dripping. Server never noticed till I called them back. Changed toast, had one piece, asked for more homemade jam, never received it either. You pay over $ 50 and it wasn't pleasant at all.

Had the tourtiere , it was dry, but the pastry was soggy. I didn’t care for the seasoning as one spice overpowered it. The baked beans were acidic from the ketchup base. The potato wedges were switched for undercooked greasy fries without informing me first. There were other issues with other items served to my friends I will not speak to. All in all the only good part was our conversations.
Fantastic food and service as always! This Stella’s location is so beautiful with the natural light :) Def recommend the iced chai!

Been going to Stella’s for years but the last few times have been disappointing. Went for lunch recently. My kids shared a pancake/egg meal and I had a breakfast. We all had a drink, them iced tea, myself a tea latte. After tip it was almost $80! My daughters wanted half bacon/sausage because they couldn’t agree. I was told that wasn’t possible but I could get 2 pieces of sausage added. Apparently this was at a cost of almost $6…and the sausage was gross to be honest. Had the texture of raw meat and had no taste to it. I had avocado toast. The avocado mixture was fridge cold making my toast completely cold as well as the eggs. Everything was very under seasoned and had no flavor. I NEVER add salt to food but it was necessary, even asked for hot sauce which helped minimally. Unfortunately, this places prices seem to be increasing and the quality of food is going way down hill. Side note, parking is still almost impossible to find.
