We got there just before the rush. Was very hard to get the server's attention after that for the bill. I find that the tables are too close together. Asked for no cilantro on a dish but found one piece (honest mistake, we just picked it out). One of the vegetables on another dish was very cold like it was not thawed properly from frozen. The flavour of the kang karee was very good but the breaded chicken breast was too dry.

The food was excellent but we felt that we were penalized for asking for tofu instead of meat. Extra tofu was $3.50 and extra shrimp that came with the meal was only $2 extra. Makes no sense. Every other Thai food restaurant has tofu as a choice for each plate where this place added the additional cost. I complained but they did not adjust our bill. Cost us $10 extra dollars for tofu. Crazy.

The tom yum soup had no flavour and was made with beef stock. The pad thai was dry with almost no chicken. The crab Rangoon was basically just empty wontons with almost no filling. This place used to be so good what happened?? We are sad.

sukhothai was always been my GO-TO as my favorite restaurant in all of Winnipeg. A group of us went on Saturday for early dinner, and the meals were good, server was quite good.However, I ordered Rice rolls with Chicken with Peanut sauce to take with me. There was NO sign of Chicken in my Rice Rolls. There was an incredible amount of cilantro though. It was easy enough to pick out of the Rolls. VERY disappointing indeed. pretty expensive, seeing as I paid the extra amount to have the CHICKEN added and they were so plain. My company wasn't impressed either. Maybe there should be a checklist to confirm the customer gets what they order? Hard for me to confirm as I didn't reheat my rice rolls till the next day. Note to self -- Don't order Rice Rolls as a TAKE OUT item, as you likely will be disappointed.

Every ingredient listed in the salad is vegetarian, but it came with a fish dressing that was not in the description. Everything else was amazing, but it sucked that I ordered a salad I could not eat.
