The atmosphere is old fashioned, but the food and the service are on point everytime. The Pound Cake is a hard hitter.

Their dinner rolls and sweet potato pie are great but the bean pies are terrible, had to toss the two I purchased. The Muslim bean pies are healthier....

Fantastic cinnamon rolls and Poppys dinner rolls! Great displays about the neighborhood's history and the heritage walking trail are inside, as well.

Ive been here twice and both of my experiences have been great! The chocolate is so very delicious and their signature Poppy Rolls are so good! I appreciate that they also have a wheat roll alternative, but the show stopper is truly the extra fluffy signature rolls Some items were out and they don't always answer the phone, so it could be a wasted drive if you want something specific.

I just saw a review on WMAR television and the gentleman who was making the dinner rolls was using his bare hands....no gloves! Please change your practices. I really would have loved to frequent your bakery, but can not now.

Today was My first time in this establishment absolutely disturbing! I purchased several items. They had sweet potatoes pies that was cold from yesterday. I asked if I could get one fresh pie off the cooling rack where he was pulling the buns from. The guy told me “NO” I asked if I can speak with someone else and he also said no. I was suppose to purchase 4 pies instead I got three and the other items. After I paid for my items the guys at the register gave me my money and card and He said, “the next time I tell you no that means no!” I completely lost it! I wished he was that rude prior to me paying. I probably would’ve thrown the bag in his face. Furthermore I told him next time! Who told you there will not be a next time, in between time, or further down the line time. I will never patronize this establishment or my family or colleagues ever again. I gave him a few choice words. This is why black businesses are declining because your customer service suck. You don’t know me or how I can contribute to your business. Moreover this type of behavior and attitude you will lose more customers. Remember the movie Pretty Woman! You just made a big mistake!PS! When I return to my office everyone said, I should have returned the items I purchased” that was my first and last time! Peace!

It’s like Grandma put her whole foot in them pies, I cant lie. I’d give em 6 stars if I could. Like a proud father, I’m never disappointed!

I got the peacan pie and sweet potato pie. Both were AMAZING (like fighting with my household over who ate the last peice good). They have lots of parking and the staff is very helpful. Their prices are affordable too.
