This is one of my go-to lunch spots in Mt. Vernon. I actually find the portion size to be quite large, as I sometimes struggle to finish a bowl because I become so full. I do agree with the one reviewer about the chicken fat, though. While most of the chicken meat is tender and flavorful, I do sometimes get a bite of fat. If you are in the Mt. Vernon area and want a bite to eat, Mount Vernon Marketplace offers really great options. The space has a very fun vibe. Make sure to mix and match and get different things from different vendors.

I thought this place was fantastic! The flavors are good. If you're into mild and medium spice levels then you'll be just fine here. I think the idea of being able to add things to your bowl once you've chosen your protein is cool. I tried the chicken masala and that was good. Then I tried the lamb vidoloo (sp?) and it was so tender and good! I also added another sauce, the spinach sauce! YUM!
