Ate here a few weeks ago in the bar area. Ordered a burrito off their "vegan" menu, which relies heavily on vegan mozzarella cheese shreds, which makes absolutely no sense in a Mexican restaurant. Anyway, there must've been at least 1/3 of a bag of this cheese in my burrito and it was so rich and disgusting because of this. I barely touched the second half of it and scraped all the mozzarella out, pointing this out to the waiter when he cleared my plate. Although I didn't ask, there was no offer to comp it or substitute it. I've worked in restaurants in the past and good service would have made this suggestion. Only positive of my experience here was that the bartender, whose shift ended while I was eating, seemed attentive and friendly. The food was beyond awful and seemed like something a stoned teenager would make. Would never eat here again if you payed me. Strange, because I've eaten at the one in Fell's Point many times in the past and the food was better.

My wife got the enchiladas, were good. I got the burrito. They treated it like many places now a days do. Like a taco. Put hot and cold ingredients together. A burrito should be hot throughout. Baked if possible. The cheese was cold, and was 1/3 of the size. I love lots of cheese, but the burrito was a mix of warm and cold, and no ozzie good melted cheese. I never want cold bites eating a burrito, but I'm from the southwest, so maybe I'm critical.

I used to order food from here frequently came in with my fiance the service is absolutely atrocious the bar tenders chat with each other instead of checking on you and need any food or drinks. The bar tenders said to even quote them on leaving a bad review. Can't tell if it's racism or something else. But it's really gone down hill.

Authentic Mexican food, beautiful decor, and amazing service. They have daily food and drink specials. Taco Tuesdays is very popular because they add one extra street taco per order. Papi's has separate bar and restaurant entrances. Definitely try street tacos, Birria tacos, and margaritas. You can also enjoy heated outdoor seating. The bar is packed with regulars, great local bmore vibe

It was a calm & peaceful evening when I visited; however when the quesadilla & real vanilla ice cream w/Charros sticks hit my mouth all the serenity came back in my life. And even though my date made clear he was not interested in slowly getting to know me or anyone not on his pace almost ruined my night (because these days most ppl don't) this food gave me the initiative to NO longer concern myself turned my whole day around ... I will be back for this Serene Moment; the best (customer service / environment & food) I've seen since 2013...Keep up the efforts guys it's working? (anyone saying the opposite I pity)!!!

We had a late Sunday night and did no planning.We arrived at 9 pm. There were few seats at the bar. We were seated quickly . Great Dinner. Delightful quality drinks. Easy to park late Ina Sunday. Good pick all way. Very fresh

Really wanted to like this place. But it's just not pleasant at all.Very rude and terse manager was the worst part of our visit, and we should have just left after hearing how they spoke to staff and patrons.But, we were hungry.The food does come out quickly, and with a lacking in anything considered flavour. There was a excess of cheap filler i.e. lettuce, onion. Minimal amount of protein... Which was again bland.The drinks are very low quality and when I asked for a margarita without "margarita mix" I was told they always use Margarita mix, and that it is "Very good."We spent over $50 and left hungry and disappointed.Guy drinking at the bar told us that the happy hour is the best time to come there.... Maybe they are right. We will never return to find out.Disappointing.

Stopped by to grab an early dinner for the family. It was a nice treat (sans family) to stop by the bar, have a drink, and place a carry out order. The bar tender was wonderful and very kind. She was quick and very pleasant to hang out with (again sans kids! lol).Being there in the late afternoon was nice given I had been moving my house all day and probably looked a hot mess! The place hadn't started filling up and the people there were quite friendly. The food was great and my (gluten sensitive) husband had a lot of great choices. The prices are on the higher end of reasonable but that's what you're gonna get for good food in Hampden
