Food is pretty solid for the most part, but can be too heavy and too salty. The service is decent, and the ambiance is decent as well. Their desserts, and dishes like their Chicken and Waffles are the best items in my opinion. The actual food entrees are just decent. The J*** Brisket Tacos are huge, but taste wise wasn't as good as I expected them to be. I recommend coming here and trying this spot out at least once though.

Yesterday I went and order the ones that had 4 tacos for 40 dollars that came from crab alfredo and jumbo shrimp, I also ordered two more chicken ones, but nothing to do with the photos they published and they gave me quesadillas, not tacos, they took 60 minutes to give me my order and give me what I had not orderedthe taco tortilla hadn't even browned it, it was rawand I paid 62 dollars for 6 tacos that actually only gave me two tacos and 4 small quesadillas

T E R R I B L E. Just no, y’all should be ashamed… do better. They were out of stock of almost all drinks and other items, they were completely out of ALL deserts. To touch on my food though, Mac & Cheese wasn’t seasoned enough. The crab dip was what saved the meal but even that was off. The garlic bread was the worst of my meal, how do you mess up GARLIC BREAD???? The other meal was a fish platter with fries and yams. The yams looked like a mound of dirt, it was really sweet and they weren’t cooked soft enough. The fries were spat out immediately and the fish is a joke. Overall I wouldn’t eat here, I’d be willing to go back if their desserts we’re in stock but no, this was very disappointing.

Cheesecake is not my top desert choice. But this Oreo Cheesecake, pictured here was a different flavor that was impressive. It was rich, but it didn't have that tart taste. The oreos provide that crunchy texture that broke up the smooth taste of the cream cheesecake texture. Nice, large portion size compared to the price. Must try, you'll be surprised and pleased..

I love good food and this place didn’t disappoint me. After seeing postings on social media I decided to drive out of my way to try them. I ordered three different platters for my family so we can all taste different items from the menu and compare notes ( the honey butter fried chicken with bus’s down fries and baked Mac n cheese sides, Tuscan garlic Alfredo with Salmon and the j*** chicken tacos). Overall the food was delectable and tasty.

I’m convinced this place is just a hit or miss. I love to support black on businesses. I’ve been eating at this place since 2019. When they were over there near Brentwood. I don’t get it often it’s a special treat. The banana pudding is so good!!! But the pasta is a bit off putting I’m not sure what it is. You know when you eat something but you can’t really say it’s good or if it’s nasty. It has a very interesting taste… would I order it again nope ??.. other than that their food is ok…

I'll start off by saying the food was delicious! We had the cajun shrimp taco, it wasn't too spicy - it was just right. This was my first time visiting, no one greeted us and offered assistance to either order at the front or at the kiosk, I also observed one of the employees coming in from an outside break, went straight to the back and started to finish getting other peoples food and drinks ready. Not acceptable - Pls work on customer service.

The food is so bomb! I ordered the Honey Butter Fried Chicken Platter with a side of Yams and Alfredo pasta. In addition to the Snickerdoodle Banana Pudding for dessert. Everything was extremely flavorful and paired really well together. My order was ready in less than 5 minutes and the pickup process was super smooth. Parking is free and plentiful, which is a plus. The prices for the food are a bit high, but I was already well aware of this before coming here. Overall, I will definitely be returning.

We saw this restaurant on YouTube and looked it up. Let me tell, this restaurant is slamming. I had Henny Mumbo fried chicken with fries. I really enjoyed my meal. The place is so colorful and relaxing. The staff was friendly with fast service. The bathroom was pretty and colorful like the restaurant and clean with a pleasant smell. I will definitely come back great food. Definitely a must try!

?THEY MADE ME PUT MY ? ? WHERE MY MOUTH IS..OMG!!! MY TASTE BUDS ARE ON FAT WOMAN ONE MILLION. I FINALLY ORDERED Y'ALL AND IT HAS BLOWN ME AWAY. OK, I USED UBER EATS AND THE MENU OPTIONS WERE EASY, THE DELIVERY WAS EASY. I ORDERED THE SMOTHERED BAKED QUARTER LEG CHICKEN ? WITH RICE & GRAVY PLATTER; MY TWO CHOICES OF SIDES WERE: BAKED MAC AND CHEESE AND DUSSE YAMS.. WHEN I SAY AN ENTIRE ? IN MY ?!! I WANT TO TRY EVERYTHING ON THE MENU!!! PLEASE, GET YOUR ENTIRE LIFE AND TRY THE UNCAGED CHEFS?‍??‍?..PS.. IT WAS WORTH EVERY DOLLAR ...THE PORTION AMOUNT IS WORTH IT TOO . I'LL HAVE SOME TO CONTINUE EATING LATER ON..

After taking a 2 hour nap i decided to get up a write this amazing review. This was the best steak and cheese I've ever had in my life. I've been around the world and this spot is the best. The food is pricey but it is worth it. We got the po boy steak and cheese as well as the shrimp and grits. My wife and I split both meals because we couldn't decide on one. Both were delicious ? and was too much to finish. In addition to the amazing food we also enjoyed the atmosphere. The music was on point and the staff was friendly. Everything on the menu looks delicious so I'm gonna have to make another trip real soon.

One of my friends told me about this place and it definitely was a Hit!!!! The ambience, decor, and energy was so warm and inviting very elegant and relaxed. Even their bathroom was detailed! The staff was very friendly and helpful to everyone that walked through the door. The colors, lights, pictures, music, and smell of the food literally was like being home with your family and hosting a function for a special occasion! I order chicken breast and fries but I wanted wings they were out. I plan on returning! Their night menu is limited in selection. Food was ready in 8 mins maybe 10 not to long. Food very tasty and prices were reasonable. They also have a kiosk to place your order. Grateful for my friend putting me on to this spot!!!!!

The food is okay. I’m very pleased to support black owned business anytime. However, I feel that too much was done to the food. In this case, my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I had the pork chops with some Mac and cabbage. I couldn’t eat the cabbage, it was too much seasoning and peppers for me and I really love seasoning. The pork chops were pretty good but the Mac and cheese was more so a lot of cheese with like 3-5 pieces of Mac. Also, I wished they offered more items advertised on instagram. I’m sure they may have days that they only offer certain things but in that case it should be made more clear and described on a menu. I’m aware of taco Tuesday but apparently EVERYDAY their only offering certain items. The location itself is beautiful. The artwork and design they used is great.

I finally got to try The Uncaged Chefs this weekend. I had the fried catfish, baked mac and cheese and j*** seafood salad. The j*** seafood salad was amazing and my absolute favorite. I was expecting more out of the baked mac and cheese but it was still good nonetheless. The catfish had a sauce on it that had a smoky taste to it, different but still good.

Overall good food. I had the Cajun crab fries with salmon. It’s flavorful the crab dip is good ol Old Bay seasoned dip. The j*** with salmon at least gives me the essence of j**** I’m on the fence, and it was a little overcooked. I will like the price to be cheaper, even $5-10, but you get maybe 2 meals out of it so can’t complain.
