We came here for lunch, wonderful atmosphere, the entrees were hearty and absolutely delicious, full of flavor. Everything was great, I paid the $32 bill and left a $7 tip (total $39). The waitress asked if I wanted a copy of the receipt, and I said no. I wish I said yes. She charged my card an extra $10 which I noticed on my credit card statement two days later. I called them 3x for a copy of what I signed showing $39, and they told me to email the owner. I sent the owner an email 3x and included my ph#, she would not return my call. Dishonest waitstaff will turn away customers. The food was amazing, best to pay cash.

Delicious food , great service, been waiting for the tripletas to be back. I haven’t found authentic puertorican food near by until I found el coqui. Definitely would’ve love for them to be opened more often i wish they would have a restaurant with the food and type of service it would be a great spot. Definitely recommend.
