Ocean Odyssey Crab House & Seafood Restaurant

The food was delicious. We were in the area on vacation and really enjoyed taking several family members and kids here. The staff was very friendly and very patient with us during the ordering process. When we are in the area again we would definitely love to come back here to eat again.

We were a little nervous when we walked in because there were no cars in the parking lot. When we walked inside the restaurant was empty. We decided to try this place anyway. We weren’t disappointed! We started with drinks. The house specialty drinks we had, the Mojito and St. Germaine Spritz were both excellent. The crab soup was one of the best I have had . And then there were the crab cakes! OMG! They serve them two ways. Deep fried and baked. I had both and both were fantastic! I will be stopping here again later in the week before we leave town - just to enjoy another serving of the crab cakes and crab soup. My wife had the Maryland Catfish which also was delicious.

I went on a Sunday in September for lunch, and my biggest complaint is that the restaurant was FREEZING. Almost every table had people with jackets or blankets from their car. I ordered the fish tacos with grouper (sadly none of the fish of the day options were locally caught). The fish was cooked and seasoned well, and the sauce it came with was a good pairing. The fries were not that crispy, but we're seasoned. Others at my table got the flounder sandwich or the mahi mahi sandwich. Food was generally enjoyed and it was a decent price.

The crab cake sandwich was delicious. Probably the best one I’ve ever had . Services at first was slow. Literally three customers, so I’m not sure what happened there. But crabs and crab cake were delicious.

This is the place you can get the best steam crabs in Dorchester County. The corn on the cob is so fresh and sweet. There are many more side dishes, and entrees to choose. Unfortunately, I got there too late so I can only do carry out.

Fresh crab in a meaty sandwich. Bun so good I could eat it alone. Fries are crispy, but not oily. Tartar sauce is good too. Nice place to stop by on a road trip, just make sure you call with 30 minutes advance. Would recommend to a friend, you might have to sell your arm though.

First time patron. Since we were the only customers we were seated promptly by our hostess and server Bailie. Bailie was friendy and explained various options to our order. We decided to order the fried oysters appetizer and the softcrab sandwich. Unfortunately I can't comment on the fried oysters because they never brought them out. The softcrabs were really good, fried to perfection. They come with your choice of toppings, lettuce, tomatoes etc. You choose a side to accompany the entree which is either, cole slaw, side sald or fries. We both chose the cole slaw. The cole slaw was almost inedible, best way to describe it would be bland and tasteless. It tasted like it was old and cole slaw should be made fresh everyday. Plenty of parking, restrooms and dinning area were clean. I'll give them another opportunity but since we don't live in the area it will be awhile before we return.

A lively place on a Monday night, with some local musicians playing for more than two hours. Good variety of food available - I had the Bay on a Bun, which is several types of seafood, fried, in a bun. A small range of craft beers are available - I had one from the local brewery, RAR, and it was delicious.

Their crabs are the best and they have the best prices. We will travel from Baltimore to get their crabs. I'm never disappointed.. When we visit Virginia, we take Rt 13 instead of 95, just to get the crabs. I have children that live in Salisbury, and when they come to see us in Baltimore, I will have them stop by Ocean Odyssey to get us crabs.
