I do not live close but drive occasionally to this location. Yesterday they didn't have enough for my order so I sat and waited. Did not check my order until I got home. They gave me to wrong meat in both orders. I had to throw them out. I said something to them and they did absolutely nothing to make it right. Not even an apology

I've been coming here for about 15 years. When they first opened they would make me a fresh vegan option in addition to the tofu eggplant and I would visit at least once a week. I have noticed the changes over the years but have still supported. As of late, they are extremely stingy and rude. I have seen the same faces for 5-7 years and it seems to be a different environment. They serve as little as possible (especially with the tofu orders), and lack a great amount of customer service. I will not be supporting again until they are under new management, which will hopefully be soon!

Rude sever refused to allow me to taste a sample although he was giving samples out. He said because I don’t buy which is not true. I live near the mall and frequent the mall often. I eat at the eateries often, including this one. The sever was very disrespectful and nasty. I would suggest trying the other friendlier and more tasty eateries in the mall. Thanks!

Rude and nasty server: An elderly server refused to give me a sample because the the server said I like to sample and not buy which is not true. I live near the mall and frequent the eateries weekly for lunch and for dinner. I have eaten there often. I would suggest trying one of the other more friendly and tasty eateries nearby for lunch and dinner. Servers are unfriendly and rude.

The one positive thing one could say about this counter in the food court is that the meal size is large enough. Otherwise, not so good. I got curry flavored angel hair pasta which was unremarkable, chicken which turned out to be so heavily coated that the coating stuck to my teeth like a bad candy and the chicken could not be found, and some equally heavy coated shrimp which was tasteless. I usually will take any leftovers home and eat later, alas, as a first they ended up in the garbage. Really disappointed.

Thai = spicy. Ruby Thai Kitchen is definitely not spicy. Salt, but not heat.$1. For the cup for water.Vegetarian options: Several vegan options, including noodles, cabbage, tofu, and rice.

Yes Thai Kitchen at Columbia Mall was okay. I was disappointed with the amount of Food I got for 11 dollars and did not even buy a drink. The guy who served me the food barley put any white rice in my dish. Like he was rationing the food. I'm like I'm the only one in line and most folks get the fried rice and there were plenty of people. Then he gave my dish to the lady and they had 5 plantain slices in the dish and I'm like can I have the last one. She was like no. I have been to place spent 11 dollars got a drink and was full at the end. I know they have bills to pay like everyone else but so do I. Charge what is fair and what is right. The owners need to talk to their latin co-workers because they do not own the place but just work there. Thai Kitchen is located in Columbia Mall and I will not be back. I use to like going there but not again. Food is great but service could be better. Message to the owner please call me sir not Buddy. I'm not a dog but a man. Black folks have put up with that a lot. Do not get me wrong they are not bad people but they could do better. I use to go there often but not anymore. Look there are plenty of wonderful Latin people. Their actions do not reflect everyone. Peace and Love. Out.

This place is horrible I would never give them my business I came there to buy something for my daughter which asked me to stop and pick her up something I asked for a taste of something and he say sorry no sample bang bang shrimp I proceeded to tell him no problem he will never get my business lucky this is for my daughter. Just nasty as if I ask them for a whole lobster.

I ordered 4 meals and all of them were bad, my Mango chicken didn’t have any Mango sauce just dry chicken. The containers were 3/4 full and I’m extremely unhappy with the service. My family has been going there for a few years and our last two experiences have been terrible! We will be going next door to the Bourbon chicken place from now on

The food here is magnificent. I got noodles with the orange chicken. The orange chicken was a little sweeter than I hoped, but still this is a pretty good restaurant.

I've certainly had worse food court orange chicken in my life (see Panda Express) ... and better. There were sizable and plentiful pieces with good flavor. I'm not well versed in Thai food, but it seemed to me at least half of the menu items were more typical Chinese-American fare rather than authentic Thai. I had lo mein and a spring roll with the chicken, none of which was spicy. I'd even say the lo mein was a bit on the bland side. Is it me, or are all the Asian places becoming more and more homogenized? Several other items did appear more authentic, so take my review with a grain of salt. It may not be entirely fair of me to review a Thai place without trying the Thai food. My order might be akin to items from a kiddie menu. Certainly filling overall - C+ My only real complaint was with the server. He either could not speak English or was afraid to speak it loud enough to be audible. I asked three times if the orange chicken was spicy, but could not understand a single syllable of his responses. I decided to take my chances since I didn't see any chili peppers and said - okay. We started the same process for the noodles. After the second utterance from under his mask, I said "okay whatever." He attempted to give me the total and I again started to ask for a repeat but said - "fine - just ring it up." I don't have a problem with food service employees who can barely speak English, but come on - "yes" or "no" answers for surely very common questions about the entrées? One can even be mute and just nod their head. New rule- if you work at Thai place, you have to know at least five phrases- "Hello," "thank you," "goodbye," "that's spicy," and "bathroom's around back" (where applicable).
