Was there for St. Patricks day. Very disappointed. Ordered Fish Bites that were more fish nuggets, very bland and mushy like they were probably frozen. I ate 2 Bites left them sitting on the table. Wasn't even asked if I wanted a Togo box which could have given me the opportunity to explain why I did not eat them. Left the establishment with a whole order sitting on the table. Very disappointed. Don't order the Fish Bites

Great spot for laid back water front dining. Sit in the back- over the water- great view!Wide variety of items on the menu including seafood, fish, mexican options, salads, burgers. Crab dip was pretty good..needed more Old Bay. Nachos needed fresh cheese and pico vs tiny cup of jarred salsa. The half and half crab soup was amazing!(1/2 cream of crab1/2 MD crab) Also the spicy shrimp and mussels were great! Live music on the weekends- great service!

I‘ve been trying new places since this year started. As you can see the food was so good we couldn’t wait to eat it. This is place #27 and I must say this spot is my #1 spot.I was looking for somewhere my puppy can go with too after a trip to the park. He loved it, he’s learning not to jump on people. He got to excited and jumped on my server and she didn’t even stress it, she was friendly with my dog and me. The water really relaxed us, made the experience 10x better. We ordered two Crushes, they were not as strong as we like them but, well blended. The Wings and the Calamari were delicious. The hot wings were not spicy as we like it but, crispy and tasty! The burger was the best burger we’ve had in a while. My chicken sandwich came with crab dip, and it tasted like they used REAL crab meat! Definitely going back to try more on the menu! I see now they are open for breakfast/brunch and I am excited to try it. I need to check in to see if they offer any rewards, I found my go-to spot. This will be a place where they get tired of seeing my face!

This restaurant had a definite dive vibe to it.Service was great, the server told us about the popular fishes here. She recommended the Fisherman's Grilled Cheese, it had a decent amount of crab meat, shrimp, and melted Monterey jack cheese on white toast. Yum.The cheese steak was delightful as well.Beautiful view of Bear Creek. They also have daily specials posted by the bar near the entrance.Jo Jo did a great job with an awesome personality. We will come back on a Wed for the chicken wing special.

I asked my husband to pick someplace for lunch we had never been before. That's how we arrived here, plus looking up the reviews. This restaurant is on the waterfront of Bear Creek, and wow! What a beautiful view on this crisp, clear day. Surrounded by yachts and boats still shrinkwrapped. There is plenty of outside dining on the pier Inside, it looks like a dive. I'm just thinking back to some old haunts from early college days. Lots of autographed dollar bills and all kinds of collectibles, come in and see for yourself. The music is soft rock and perfect for this type of bar. You know... Jimmy Buffet and so on. The menu is double-sided, straightforward, and not overly busy. I asked if there were daily specials, yes. Today was a NY strip steak with 2 sides. Come to find out they are listed by the entrance by the bar. My husband was true to form with his well done (yes, they will char it for you) hamburger. Add onion rings for $2. I had the Fisherman's Grilled Cheese, which is toasted bread, Monterey jack cheese, lumps of crab meat, and pieces of decently sized pieces of shrimp. It was really good! Just moist enough and not greasy. Added onion rings, too. We were too full for dessert. They have a card on the table top with them. Parking was a bit limited, and I can just imagine this is a hopping place in the summer with all the drink specials and the sailing patrons. Handicapped spots are available.

Hard Yacht Cafe is literally a hidden gem. And why wouldn't it be? Located beside a small boat harbor, where you get to have your meal sitting beside the waterways, and the portion they provide is very generous. The hosts are very welcoming! Additionally, coffee is free! And no issues with parking, they have adequate spaces just outside the restaurant! Highly recommended!

We love the Hard Yacht! We have been there for breakfast, lunch, dinner and of course for Taco Tuesdays. We can take the dog and sit in the deck and enjoy a nice meal. The service is always great! We have no complaints at all! N
