If you're on the Eastern Shore near Federalsburg, you need to stop and eat at the Federalsburg Family Restaurant. Really good Homemade food and a great value too. A very friendly and attentive staff.
Ate here for the first time yesterday and it was a really good experience. Our waitress Sheri was great, and the drinks & food came out quickly. We ordered the flounder dinner and the meatloaf dinner. Both came with 2 sides and a dinner roll. The veggies weren't super flavorful (green beans, broccoli) but not bad (Mac n cheese was ok). Place was packed, as it usually is, but were seated and received our beverages right away. Saw some friends, made some friends and had an enjoyable time. Best part, I don't have to ask for my "old people's discount." Yes, that's what I call it. Saying senior citizen makes me feel even older...go figure. Food was delicious and again take most of it home. It's only closed on special holidays such as Christmas, otherwise you'll have good food...
